As someone who suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder, the opening lines really resonate with me. I didn’t even read the description yet, and I already had a feeling that the character has OCD. People like me never get any representation in media. Most people paint OCD as just being a “neat freak,” when in reality we suffer constantly with thoughts and compulsions that we can’t control. It’s a battle every day, and it can be very isolating at times. Just watching this trailer alone brought tears to my eyes. It means so much to me and I can’t wait to watch more. I’m just one person so it might not mean much, but thank you so much Patrick. Thank you.

I like how his voice sounds like scaramouche's yet i know this is a different character. That aside, i really like the animation and voice acting, great job Patrick!

Man- the concept is INSANE, i like that the concept kinda mixes down Sandy and The Balladeer down into one character, which is even better since youre my literal favorite VA, im excited for this.

First of all, I love the voiceacting! Am I going to spend the entire show(?) hearing Scara? Probably! Am I going to still enjoy it for its own thing? Hell yeah! I love the concept a lot, and the animation style / character design too, it's simple but impactful. The plot seem super interesting as well and definitely has a lot of potential for exploring deep themes and such through a psychological lens. In general I love stories that use dreams and such and combine them with real life, sort of magical realism, because there's so much room for symbolism and metaphors and imagery you wouldn't see in the real world. I suppose that's why I like games like Omori so much (it's also got trauma and dream shenanigans). It'd be cool if the main character starts off in control of his dreams and what happens in them (to himself and others) but then he loses control over them / they start doing their own thing as he lets his emotions get the best of him, as you put it. Anyways, I'll stop rambling. Looking forward to seeing more. =)

I am SO excited to see this. I love your work, and this seems such an interesting premise. While I don't have (diagnosed) OCD, I'm autistic, and there's a whole lot of anxiety and rituals that go along with that, which can be very similar. It's so hard to have that recognised and properly portrayed, as with so many mental health issues and I don't think most people realise how hard it is to not give in to those impulses when they haven't experienced it. So often it's just someone who is freakishly tidy or scared of germs or whatnot, and it's SO much more than that. The intrusive thoughts of pure O are absolutely horrific. So, thank you for sharing this preview, I can't wait for the first episode! 💜

That song is unironically a total bop that takes me back 20 years, by the way. I love it. ☺
