I have faith in NI. I feel like they “finna” drop a new Maschine and give the software a big update. They replied to someone’s comment a few months back stating they haven’t abandoned the software and looking for ways to improve it and implement it with their new keyboards. I believe we are gonna get a MK4 with one screen like their new keyboards. The software will get a big overhaul too. I feel it ✊🏽🔥
I got faith in Native Instruments because I love my Maschine MK3... but I'm strongly considering getting an MPC i started with an Akai mini I tried Maschine and haven't looked back but man I'm fighting temptations lol!!!😂
i was a NI guy for years and loved the software more!!! Recently bought a MPC one plus, after getting the hang of the sequence, track, program window oh its cake. lol i do also use the Mac software and i bring in that Kontakt my favorite plugin. 2 weeks on Akai so far
Don’t question it lol. The Maschine is 🔥🔥🔥 Especially if you know what you’re doing. I will never get rid of my Maschine, because the workflow is so easy and quick
I have both the MPC and the machine I like them both this stem separation is cool. It’s not bad but I know you can do this in other apps as well. Are you separation with serato. The one thing that native instruments have that ones up against Akai with the MPC is that they have way more than the MPC I’ll give them credit for that.
Yeah, I use Serato sample and specralayers 11 like 90% of the time. Native does have so many cool instruments and in my opinion that’s the only way they are in the game still
The only thing I wish MPC Would give us is a better arrangement view linear preferably that’s what I believe Maschine has over MPC clips integration as well
Same here! I’ve been rocking with NI since the Very First Maschine. I’m never going to just abandon them, but I can’t lie The MPC is looking more and more amazing!!
Native Instruments had the heat with Maschine Plus but they didnt upgrade the issues we were waiting and waiting no response so the only thing they can do is a complete overhaul if not game over . Akai bout to drop another machine plus stems .
What’s good? Got a question about the sampling on all the MPCs and the software. On Ableton, when using Simpler, there a playback option that gives you the choice of Mono,Poly, and Thru. With the “Thru option, the sample will continue to play even when the next sample comes, is that making sense? If it does, is there anyway to do it on the MPCs and the MPC Software?
Let's be honest, Maschine and Maschine software development has been frozen for years. Very little additions, and the Maschine+ was a great idea with not so great execution. This being said, the Maschine is still a great controller, but as far as innovation goes they are falling behind. You are right about what NI should focus on, be the best in software/hardware integration. Fingers crossed they wake up in 2024.
I got rid of my complete controller to get a MPC key 61. I am so acclimated to making beats in machine but they have let me down ever since I bought one in 2009.😊
You hit the needle on the head. They need to play to their strengths. THey should leave the stand alone market alone. It would be better if they focus on Daw intergration and the midi controller market. They need to make sure the vst inside the DAW is not so stiff.
That’s a really good question lol 😂! I’m guessing you want to produce in Standalone? If that’s the case then I personally think the Live 2 is the way to go. There is no better standalone unit out right now that can match it (in regards to features. If you want a Hybrid setup Computer/ Standalone, than the Maschine Plus is the way to go. I personally rarely use my Maschine plus in standalone mode, because I prefer utilizing it as a controller inside my DAW. You can’t go wrong with either one, especially for the money you’re spending for each.
@@qtv6496 You can use it with the computer it comes with an application, but Maschine is better in that regards. I use the Maschine more because I’m mainly inside the Box. The perfect Ideal situation would be get the Live 2 and a Maschine MK3 not the plus. You would have the best of both worlds. The Live 2 for standalone production and the Maschine for when your in the studio inside a DAW
I really lost faith in NI. I think they gave up and just focus on their Komplete Series & Keyboard and other random Software. The last update was such a dissappointment... like.. what were they doing the last 12 months? ...
This makes me want to leave Maschine man. They are starting to fill a bit outdated. This will be a very important year for them. If they don’t give us a draw dropper they will be forgotten about
MPC arrangement is trash 🚮 compared to NI, that’s what makes NI workflow better. MPC is great stand alone but eventually it ends up in the software. MPC hardware looks better than NI, I love the retro mpc look. Honestly if there software was linear I would have jump ship along time ago. But NI and Serato are intuitive together.
People are so stupid Why do they think that native instruments has to come with new mashine ,i mean wat could they improve The mashine plus ➕️ is a fucking monster you cant get anything better If there going update mashine it has to be the software not the hardware because the standalone version is the software in a box ,mpc is ok 👍 But it can not compair to the mashine plus And yes i got them both ,been mpc snice the mpc500 And mashine from the start
I agree I think the hardware is great as is and I love the workflow. I personally feel like if they made the software integrate well with any DAW like the Komplete Kontrol software does it would be perfect for MY personal Workflow. I think there is a lot they can do to the actual software that would take things to the next level.

Me too
Maybe there working on a DAW 🤷🏽♂️

I am a very very Die Hard Machine user since 2012.
But I gotta give props the Akai doing what customers want.

You can Actually send it to separate pads as it creates separate samples
