  • Irresistible Southern Peach Cobbler Recipe | Easy Homemade Dessert
    Indulge in the mouthwatering flavors of my homemade Southern Peach Cobbler recipe! This classic dessert features juicy peaches, topped with a buttery, cinnamon and nutmeg -infused crust, all baked to golden perfection.     Recipe:
    2 large can of peaches in juice or frozen drain
    half
    1/4 c Brown sugar
    1/4 c Granulated sugar(to taste)
    1/2 t Cinnamon
    1/4 t Nutmeg
    3 T vanilla extract
    1st Ik unsalted butter
    1/2 t salt
    2 T lemon juice
    1/2 c corn starch (depending how thick you
    want your filling)
    1/2 c water
    1 box Rolled refrigerated pie crust
    Instructions:
    Line the bottom of your baking dish with 1 pack of rolled pie crust. Bake on 350 F 10-12 minutes
    Combine all ingredients except for the last 3.
    Cook over medium heat 15 mini minutes.
    Remove the pot from the heat .
    Combine cornstarch and water (equal parts) and stir until dissolved.
    Pour immediately into the filling and stir until fully combined.
    Allow the mixture to cool 30/40 minutes.
    Pour the mixture into the baking dish on top of the par baked crust.
    Cover the dish with the remaining pie dough. If your not using strips, poke 4-5 slits on top of dough with a knife.
    Brush the top with egg, butter or heavy cream.
    Bake on 375 F 35-45 minutes u til the crust is a nice golden brown and the filling is bubbling through the top crust thick like lava.
    Cool 30-45 minutes before serving!
