    I have Endometriosis, multiple fibroids and an Endometrioma. My whole life I have been suffering from pain, constipation and digestive issues. After knowing my condition and doing lots of research I changed my diet completely. I removed all Inflamatory food such as red meat, sugar, wheat, dairy and processed food. I focused on plant based food and fish plus exercising at least 4 times a week. I am pain free, my constipation is gone, the inflamation is gone and one of the fibroids actually ruptured. This is my personal experience. Diet , excercice and supplements are important if you want to improve your life quality while having Endometriosis and hormone imbalance.
    Thank you for the great informative video.

    • @dr.patriciamills
      @dr.patriciamills  10 месяцев назад +1

      Everyone should be careful adding something new, many people do not react to flax seed and most reactions are not because of the estrogenic effects (which are usually in the positive reaction) but because of problems with the gut microbiome, or an individual food sensitivity which is less common. Glad you were able to identify is a a trigger for you!

Food is medicine, I feel if these women used to eat clean previously they won't have faced this problem. I am sure with such an excellent diet many women will get benefit.

    hey, what if someone nreds surgery and chooses to treat this naturally,if their pain stops does this mean they still have lesions that need to be taken out? or could the lesions increase in size over time untill gone?

    • @dr.patriciamills
      @dr.patriciamills  Год назад +3

      It really depends - surgery is usually reserved for when the endometriosis is blocking things or causing significant pain. If the pain goes away and it's not blocking (urine outflow, bowels for example) then surgery is usually not needed. If the root cause(s) are not identified, then the lesions could increase over time - or stay the same size, or shrink. Hope this helps!

      hi! It's a bit controversial. Organic fermented soy without unwanted added preservatives etc can be helpful to modulate estrogen levels due to it's phytoestrogen content. However it is very hard to find good quality soy, so reducing soy products which are heavily sprayed with pesticides if not organic is good advice. Whether eating phytoestrogens worsens local tissue estrogen in fibroids is unknown. Good quality properly prepared soy in moderation is probably ok but hard to find. Hope this helps!
