Alan Moffat plays the Grand Organ of Sydney Town Hall

Recorded sometime between 1977-79, Alan Moffat plays Louis Vierne's 2nd Organ Symphony Op 20 on the Hill & Son Grand Organ of Sydney Town Hall. Registration assistant was Mark Bensted and recording engineer John Araneta.

Great to hear Alan in such fine form - much stylish, and excellent interpretation playing! To quote AM on this anniversary of his passing: (said to unwary people at RSCM courses) "I'm Alan Moffat, and I drive fast cars"

Love the playing in this recording and am amazed that the recording dates from the late 70s.
