There's a difference between treating the symptom and treating the cause. Music can make you feel better for the day. Unless you change your life you'll always be reliant to music to treat your depression. Try to act quickly, while music still does the trick.

Honestly, I hate the people on here that are like,"Only the people that have been listening since they started are real fans." Bullshit. I only discovered NF recently, but I love this music. I had never heard of him before like, October of 2017. That doesn't make me a fake fan. That means I didn't have the means to discover his music before I did, and I discovered it when I needed it most in my life. So cool yourselves. Listening longer doesn't make you a better fan.

Name 1 other artist that puts the same things in context the way he has done. The reason he has weight and meaning is because his words, his music, his art isn't his to begin with. chavezery09 all of nf's songs are insanely more artful that a "booze and bitches" song. every song that he writes is about a personal struggle that he is dealing with or has dealt with, which brings hope and inspiration to people, while all the "booze and bitches" songs basically tell people of all ages, including MINORS, that it's OK to have sex and smoke illegal drugs and drink. he is using the gift that God gave him to write these songs. what would you rather have as a role model for your kids, wiz khalifa, someone where all of their song is about drinking and smoking, basically telling people to do it, or NF, someone who writes songs about his life and his struggles and gives hope to people struggling with the same thing as him and helping them survive the tough times in their lives?
NF is hands down the most real and passionate rapper I've ever had the pleasure of discovering. I'm 36, and am blown away by his voice and his presence. Love how he does not cater to the world but serves the King.

I was a heroin addict for over 10 years and during that time whenever this song would come up in my playlist it would cause me to breakdown crying. But now I’m almost 5 years sober and I can finally listen to it again without getting upset. Things can always change in your life for the better and no matter what you are going through, you can get through it and find your happiness in life.

At the end of the day, I get into bed, pull the covers over my head and listen to NF's music, and I'm going to admit, I am depressed and I have thought about killing myself before but the only reason I haven't is because of Nate's music, because at the end of the day while I'm under the cover listening to NF, I cry. I don't mean to put pressure on Nate when I say his music keeps me alive if he stopped making music I would be VERY sad, but I would listen to the songs that are already made, but Nate's music is what keeps me from losing my emotions completely. I Love his music.

I was this woman in the room. He took both of our kids, while I was working two jobs, getting stressed, paying for our house, everything, he did nothing but stay with them. Never gave me a chance to be a mom. It was all about control, from incubator to professional worker, no time to be a mom inbetween. It destroyed me. Been fighting to see my two kids ever since. My circumstances are similar to yours. I’m experiencing this right now during a contentious Divorce with my soon to be Ex-Husband he controlled me, when he was losing control he used the kids to control me. Calling CPS 4 times in a year, false child abuse accusations investigated & cleared. When they lose control over you, they use what they can. When they’ve used up what they can, they control how others perceive you, spreading lies so much to the point that you question yourself and believe you are the problem. But it’s his control he seeks over every aspect of your life. Til you have nothing are nothing and hopeless without him, and your children. That’s a severe Domestic Violence and emotional abuse situation. Get in touch with Turning Point or other Domestic Violence Agencies.
NF brought me back to Christianity and helped me re-establish my relationship with God. So did all of the other performers at YC, but NF gets the most credit.

It is also rare that they genuinely can't bring out a bad song. NF is one of these rare artists. Of course I have favourites, but I literally find every one of his songs good.

I had similar issues and even now question my decision. I know I will be okay though because I spent a few years out of school to discover myself. I found I do not like sitting at work for long periods or working at computers, also that I’m good at problem solving and working with my hands. As long as I have a job with these basic parameters I will be happy :). What I’m saying is, don’t worry so much, take in your surroundings, live in the moment and find who you really are. Life will follow accordingly

Some people might think this is depressing. I watched it, and I was upset at the fact that they never changed. They get angry, lose control, and I'm expecting something (or Someone) to help them. The more I watched it, the more I realized: Not everyone is going to "wake up". This opened my eyes to the very big reality that not all will be saved, not all will repent. They, "Point a finger at God" and it never goes beyond that. I think we need to take this video as an encouragement to be a light to those who haven't awoke.
