Willow is also a key wood for making a primitive bow from and "think" its good friction fire material. Don't quote me on the fire part, but fairly sure. Thx for the vid learning alot. Didn't know cattail was mosq. repellant.
Does the citronella extracted from cattails work on the free press? That's one plant I wouldn't mind grabbing! Luckily I live in a swamp! This video was bigly informative! It was so amazing! So amazing!... Thank you!
As old as this video is you may not see my comment, but why not eat tiger lilies? I've been eating the young spring shoots all afternoon and plan to boil up some of the bulbs. It just happens to be the variety that I have on my property.
Yes you can. They are often referred to as "trail nibble" by hikers and campers alike, Of course you can also cook them down in boiling water like turnip or collard greens, but you will get the most vitamins and minerals from shamrock and clover if eaten raw.
I loved this video knowing the citronella content is awesom. Thankyou.
Orange daylilies! Those are the most tremendous lilies of all! Believe me, they are so tremendous!

What we like to use red sumac for is an additive for black pepper or hot chilli peppers. It helps give it a nice Lemon flavor and tart taste.
Another great vid! Thanks!

Also for cattails then brown hotdog part is great for transferring fire as they smolder.
