+BigAntVideo Hey mate, thanks! Yeah I used the Leeming LUT as a starting point for pretty much all the vision except for the actual fight footage which was shot on a variety of camera/profiles.
Hey mate, yup that shot was definitely Cinelike D + Leeming LUT as well as all the gym footage and the food preparation stuff. The fight highlights were Cinelike V shot prior to learning about the Leeming workflow. It does wonders for skin tones, especially now he has fine tuned it even further.
Wow, so you really believe that the Leeming Lut is actually the best option for skin tones, uh? I guess you're right from what I see on your footage. Personally I'me struggling to get decent footage using the Cinelike D with or without the Leeming Lut. The Leenming lut definitely improves the Cinelike D footage, but I feel that the codec is really pushed and the part of the image that suffer the most is really the skin tone area. If you care about sharing any of your work flow be my guest! Actually I went to see the footage again, the interview on the bench, and I'm amazed at the quality of that footage. Do you exposed to the right a lot? Then what, Filmconvert? Actually, I'm also a vegan and it's always nice to see athletes who are.
You made me curious so I re-opened the project to have a look. The shot at 0:53 as an example only had a Lumetri filter on with Leeming LUT 1.26 as the input LUT. The shot was slightly over-exposed from memory but yes generally I try and expose to the right. For this shot the other settings were: temp 4, exposure -0.3, contrast 15, highlights -10, whites -20, blacks -25, sat 115. That's it, no other filters. Mostly thats was trying to tame the hot spots on her skin. I'm not sure if this is really the ultimate skin tone solution for GH4 but I'm pretty happy with it. I will say that recently I bought a GX85 as a B-cam and the Natural profile out of the box is pretty damn good, I think Panasonic have improved their colour science significantly since GH4 imo.
Yes, on the G7, which is very close to the GX85 I use Natural graded in Filmconvert most of the time and rarely now use Cinelike D. Thanks for all your comments.
My new role model! A female vegan Muay Thai fighter! Such an inspiration!
Love this. Was it shot using the Leeming LUT?

So the interview of the fighter as she sits on a bench with an over in the background on the left is shot in Cinelike D with the Leeming Lut?
