Introducing YDB, a Distributed SQL DBMS for mission-critical workloads @ IndiaFOSS 2024

YDB is a versatile open-source Distributed SQL Database that combines high availability and scalability with strong consistency and ACID transactions. It accommodates transactional (OLTP), analytical (OLAP), and streaming workloads simultaneously. It is publicly available under Apache 2.0, one of the most permissive open-source licenses. In this talk, Ivan Blinkov introduces the system and explains how it can be used to build reliable data-driven applications that implement business-critical processes.
