      @Rek_Rc  Год назад +1

      @@BriansRCStuff thank you buddy. I was just sitting here thinking how some drone footage could make your speed runs an absolute one of a kind. You're good at those, if you could find someone with a decent drone, it doesn't even have to be able to keep with your cars top speed to make epic speed run footage. I already like your videos. But your speed runs with some sort of drone footage would be another level. Maybe have a drone already flying low then your car rips past from underneath it going the same direction, then it rips past you with the stationary camera. That would be insane.

      The only thing I don't like about it is the servo saver. It's not really built to take a big hit, but luckily they are cheap and upgradable. Otherwise the truck is ripping fast, and it handles pretty well out of the box, with some adjustable linkages and some tuning I think it would be pretty good on the track.

      @Jonn1969 there there's ust something about short course trucks, I don't know what it is exactly, but I love them. They can be difficult to drive sometimes, they look impressive doing almost anything, and when you get it right while driving one, it feels like you hit a home run. This thing really surprised me how fast it was and how well it handled being a 2WD. It takes practice to drive 2WD well, but this truck doesn't really seem as difficult on turns, even with a 4000KV system in it. With tuning and practice, this thing probably handles really well. That body will catch air of course (SCT), BUT, venting the rear made a massive and immediate difference. I'd say go for it. If you like SCT, you'll probably enjoy this truck.

    The Jumpshots Flux are such underrated rigs, cheaper than a brushed Slash & twice as fast. Im thinking of picking up both the Jumpshot SC Flux & also the Jumpshot ST Flux. I can get both trucks for around $460 for the pair.

    • @Rek_Rc
      @Rek_Rc  Год назад

      Totally agree. Also getting both for that price still keeps you under a high end Traxxas slash and you're still going to be faster because the slash needs a gear change to do those speeds. The HPI cars can do it fresh from the box without changing a single thing. Not saying the slash isn't a really nice rig, because it is. But sometimes I think the slash line, aside from the BL (excellent move by Traxxas btw), are maybe too nice and therefore you don't see much bashing and racing happening with the slash.

And I never really realized how much of a worthy successor the Jumpsuit was until I saw this video. The Blitz was so tough, tougher than the Slash at the time and better around the track than the SCT Lois was coming out with in that time period, or in my opinion at least. And this seems Like they're kept the spirit of that alive even though the platform is vastly different. Mine came with that same 4000KV motor, thing is a beast, I have it in my Laegendary Thunder right now. I really want want one of these and I have for a while now. But just cannot seem to make my mind up. Do I want to get the SC or the ST and go racing? I'm still not ready to give up on my Blitz yet but I could do one for MOD SC and one for 17.5, Or do I want to get the MT and go bashing? I really want a 2wd MT, I've never had one, between that, the gorgon, and I'm also looking at the integer i10T because I love the high center of gravity. I just cannot seem to make my mind up...

    Nice video as always! How comes that short course trucks are your favourite? :)

      Thank you, and I appreciate the comment. I'm not sure exactly why sct are my favorite. I think it's because they are full bodied which makes them look impressive, they have their own unique handling characteristics aside from even cars of the same chassis designs as well, and they always look larger than they are. When they're fast, it's a blast because you always have to be watching for them to lift off like a plane. Racing them is fun because you can get fender to fender without worrying about the tires making contact and sending them flying so the racing gets very tight.

    I'm guessing because everybody wants four-wheel drive not two-wheel drive. But that's just a guess..

    I think I’d rather have a flux st tge stadium truck version. Looks a lot like the Losi jrxT

      I almost got the ST l actually, but my love of SCT drove me to this one.
