Guess what people, you can have entertainment and the music is still just as captivating and amazing. One of the greatest pianists in the world, Victor Borge, did just that. I am personally a classical saxophonist and deeply involved in music and I find this fascinating and wonderful. They put two arts together. I think Victor Borge was rather well known and well off, so I dont consider it a squander of talents. Music was beautiful, and they made it artistic and thier own. BRAVO!!!
You put on a show because you CAN. Stay immobile in your chair with your eyes glued to the music and your little foot tapping away at the tempo if that's all you're able to do and congratulations for being able to do that but please keep in mind though, the audience is why you're on stage. This quartet is fantastic on many levels, whether they're sitting still or dancing around.
Wasn't it the composer himself who posted this video? Presumably he felt his music was well served despite the stage business. No one's talent is being squandered, altho it might make a few saxophonists uneasy if they feel the instrument has to apologize for an entertaining past.
When you play a wind instrument you use the diaphragm to breathe and blow, but when you do physical exercise you use different muscles .... Doing both at the same time and playing well is great !!!! .... Congratulations babys...
Not necessarily. You can do everything with diaphragm breathing. But it takes quite some practice to not fall back to "normal breathing" once you have to focus on different things.
C'est très joli, mais il me semble que vous avez oublié l'essentiel, à mon sens : le tango est avant tout une danse, vous ne pouvez pas vous permettre d'accélérer les fins de phrase et d'écourter les silences comme vous le faites. Dans le tango, il se passe des choses dans le dernier temps de la mesure, et ne dit-on pas que le silence, c'est aussi de la musique? Très belle interprétation, excellente maîtrise du rendu d'ensemble, mais très sincèrement, je n'aimerais pas danser sur ce tango ;-)
