Its nice to see lots of little cod about good for the future. I was at hartlepool for few hours last night trying out my new rod had 3 small codling biggest was about 11 in a colie, dab and a last cast whitey so not a bad start to my winter season. Great vid as allways i was watching some of your older winter vids again getting some hidden tips
Given that ragworm are capable of biting, wouldn't it be a good idea to drag each one through a pile of salt to coat them all over? I did that with earthworms; they died within seconds and were very well preserved. Their odour stank like dog granules though.
You mainly only get common shore crab here mate im not sure if you can eat them. I dont think the lobster come this far up the river your best bet would be the pier in summer for the lobster.
Where was that you fished mt I fish the Tyne alot! Good to see some videos of people fishing up are way cracking vid as always!! Is that Smith's dock your at mt
Fishing in the UK I normally fish straight oopposite on the north shields side, Smith's dock had a few nice codling last few times av been, just waiting for this rain to do 1 hopefully be out Friday night!!
Nice litte session Gary - some good quality video there. I've totally given up with multipliers - fed up with the tangles & I never could cast very well with one! Some mighty fine monster Ragworm there too - most of the ones down here are less than half that size! Tight lines mate! 👍👍
Greetings from the Texas Gulf Coast. Just came across your channel, I enjoyed your video. As brothers of the hook we all have endured the trials of the sport we love backlash, small fish, no fish. If interested how we do it on the Gulf Coast check out MDLR Fishing, RX Fishing, ThresherFishing . Gave you a thumbs up and subscribed to the channel and will be passing you on to my "Mates". Tight lines and keep the videos coming!
Class as always Gary can never fault it fish hard as always. Have a lil look at my channel few locally caught fish for giggles and laughs with the lads we all love it see you on the next one

Fishing in the UK I like fishing jarrow but they close the pedestrian tunnels at 8.00pm or I'd go there as I live just On other side.
I haven't fished smith's dock before might have to give it a shot sometime.
