i mean, its not like they hate us or anything. and in their defense, getting a new keymode ranked is a large undertaking for the NAT. they just dont think its much of a concern, probably since the community is so small.
i respect the idea of 2k a lot because if raking/rolling motions are considered fair game, you can play jacks greatly exceeding 300 bpm so long as they do not exceed 5 notes long (five fingers per hand)

It's crazy to me how long ago that proposal post was. I forgot that it was your post that ended up making us push for 12-18K ranked. What's happened with 1-3K since then? I remember you said you guys were going to push out another proposal some months after or something.
@@dealerofmelons we have been working on building the gamemodes first. hence this very video, its all part of the plan
@@dealerofmelons we wont push anything until after my 3k competition. we want to have a mapping meta established for all 3 gamemodes first. we could frontrun it and go now since really only 2k was the missing link, as 3k is close to 4k, but there are still more unexplored playstyles for 3k to develop before id consider the keymode as mature as 1k. 2k is still in its adolescence, but a clear mapping meta has been established with STKE.
Time to learn 1k
