I fish holes 10 to 20ft deep i mainly use a 3/4 to 1 oz egg sinker with my float set up. Would it be the same concept given that it slides? Great videos though man
@WutUpBrahh yes , but I would not be dragging on bottom to bobber dog, or it snags entire set up..with snap swivel it breaks only the weight off. Given that, if you show up to fish, and fish are still lethargic from pressure or in shallow water because of water speed and flow it would take a bunch of time to change to a bobber dogging set set up..time out of water just lowers odds..more time in hires odds..so absolutely it will work when fish are active...now will it let the fish pull and not feel the weight as it slides freely. I would say again not as good as a swivel because the slider weight has more contact with the line,vs, barley any surface going through the tiny amount of surface contact in a swivel..hope that makes sense..in many cases you could given a non snaggy bottom, bobber dog it all day and slay..but say you want to try somewhere new, it would be risky entire set ups being lost..
Very informative Thank you greatly sharing bud
@wilsonflanders878 Thanks, you bet.. I already had a message on how it worked for them today, lol.
