@@paperpagespossibilities Thanks! I do have somewhat big reading plans but I actually hope they will simplify things for me, or at least be a little more relaxing than this year. We'll see... Glad you're along for the ride!
@@TomOrange The stats are definitely fun. I don't know that I'm ambitious enough to track them (other than a list of titles read) if StoryGraph wasn't doing the work for me, but I am glad they are! The trick is to use that information in a way that improves my reading life, not gamifies or complicates it... It was a strong year, but busier than it probably should have been. @@pleasereadyourbook To be fair, this year it _did_ come at the expense of some other things I would have liked to have been (or should have been) doing, so next year definitely warrants some adjustments... but I feel like the last few years my reading speed has increased, just from focusing on it as a primary hobby. So, other duties neglected or not, it is a lot...
@@hemantlama900 I do read quickly, but also a lot of these books are 300p or less _and_ they are very readable, if that makes sense. I don't think being fast or slow matters too much, objectively. It is a matter of being happy with what and how you're reading. If you are enjoying your reading practice or habit then that's perfect, totally regardless of how many books you read, or what style or genre of books you read.
I suppose I should say that I recorded this video on thr 25th, and have finished 3 books since then, so my numbers are a little off, but close enough!
Great wrap up and an ambitious year ahead. I look forward to following along.

Looks like a very strong year overall! Love seeing the stats. I do my best to track a lot of the same information you do as well.

Always amazed at how much reading you can get in each month!

You are a fast reader. December has been particularly slow month for me, readingwise. Will try to improve next year.
