Hi random question- was partying/nightlife a big part of this trip or would you say not so much?

Hi! No, not at all, really. Plus the cities/towns we were in didn't really have much other than some bars. For the most part, people were done earlier on in the night to rest up for the next day's hike (usually, the hikes would take up the whole morning, so no one wanted to be dehydrated or anything.) If not, we'd all be hanging out at the hotel's bar.

Hi! I'm actually not much of a hiker at all lol I mostly conditioned myself by going on a few local hikes every other week and using the treadmill on an incline and using the stairmaster! Our group had people with all fitness levels... but there are two guides, one at the front and one at the back so no one gets left behind. It should actually be warmer out for you! I went in September and it was warm out enough that it was easy to pack light (leggings, thin hiking pants, tank tops, tshirts, thin pullovers, a jacket for Aguille du Midi). I only had a backpack and carry-on luggage! Hiking poles are a suggestion too (saved my knees so much lol), but you'll need to check those since they're not allowed to be carried with you. The key to packing everything for me were packing cubes!

@@wanderbydae Thank you so much for responding !! this really helps a lot! i think i will most definitely take hiking poles, did you need to have them packed well in their separate bag, or did you fit them into your luggage and checked the whole bag?

@Wednesday Huesitos I actually just checked a separate bag that was pretty much empty besides my hiking Poles. Lol Left a lot of room for all the chocolate and souvenirs coming home. 😉
