Hi!!! 😊 I just got this video recommended on my yt homepage and as a new deobi (Korean pronunciation of the boyz’s fandom name “the b”), I feel the need to comment lol especially because I’m starving for new the boys reaction lol. I definitely recommend you guys to get into them, they’re a group of extremely talented comedians whose part time job is being an idol 😂 jokes aside, I feel like they’re quite underrated in the west compared to their popularity in Korea which is a pity in my opinion 😔 (also, I feel like I should mention it, but their ages range from born ‘96 to born ‘00, so the youngest will turn 24 this December)
In terms of mvs, I’m not sure what you’ve already seen and what type of music you enjoy listening to, but here’s something to start with: if you enjoy brighter sounding songs, then I recommend lip gloss (summer bop), bloom bloom, thrill ride, d.d.d, giddy up. If you prefer darker songs then watch it, roar, maverick, the stealer, reveal and their Japanese comebacks she’s the boss, tattoo (which is a Japanese comeback but the song is in korean), breaking dawn (again, it’s a Japanese cb but in this case the lyrics are both in Japanese and in korean), or the most recent one gibberish which has its mv dropping today iirc. Other songs I recommend are no air and nectar, which is their most recent Korean comeback and some unit songs like honey (by the 2 maknaes), passion fruit and rat in the trap. I don’t know if you do guides like other reactors, but in case you’re interested in those here’s a couple to choose from. There’s not many going around cause like I said, they’re extremely popular in Korea, but in the west I feel like they’re known but not as much as some other groups that my be a lot popular overseas compared to domestically (I hope this sentence made sense lol). The most recent guide I found was this one from @deobol. It’s the most recent one but most of the clips are still a little older and as The Boyz currently have 11 members, it’s not as detailed as some other guides might be, in my opinion. Otherwise, you can find a 2023 guide from @deobsessed (ruclips.net/video/FeKRSKuSJqU/видео.htmlsi=r2HCkZ20irA7Ag4X) which is even less detailed (it’s an “unhelpful” one so it makes sense) than the on I mentioned earlier, but they have individual members guides that are quite recent and that do go into more details regarding the members as far as I can remember, so I feel like they might be a good addition too ! If I remember correctly, they’re not too long too but I might be wrong on that since it’s been some time since I watched those 😅 @deobsessed also has reaaaally fun and good compilations so if you want to get some out of context clips, those are really great lol. (Another great channel that has great compilations is @jellykims, but they’re not active anymore as opposed to deobsessed)

Tbh, also I highly suggest to check out their own content in order to get to know them! Like I mentioned earlier, they’re comedians who are part-time idols, thus they’re such hilarious guys and their dynamics are really really fun! (It might be confusing at the beginning though since they have quite a few members and their chaoticness definitely doesn’t help) Some recent content I suggest are:

Other content I’d suggest is their episodes on idol human theater, come on! The Boyz in GODSAENG, their Kstarnextdoor interviews, their episodes on eunchae’s star diary (eps 1 and 21, but they make a special appearance in the second episode of boynextdoor’s one which is ep.40), as well as the English line’s podcast on the daebak show with Eric nam (you can find the videos on RUclips, it’s 3 individual ones plus one where all 3 are together) and them being guests on some dive studio’s games or interviews (“hwaiting” season 2 and 4, the silent library challenge, which is followed by the whisper challenge, and episode 8 of “unbelievable”, show with yangyang and ten as 2/3 of the hosts). Just a quick note, the idol human theater episodes might get blocked though, I haven’t seen people reacting to those on RUclips, but the others should be fine technically. Maybe eunchae’s show, the boyz in godsaeng and the kstarnextdoor ones, but I’ve seen plenty of people reacting to those on RUclips without any editing and they’re completely fine so technically you should be too in case you decide to react to those!
This was quite a lengthy comment and once again I’m so sorry for that, but I hope I raised at least a tiny bit of interest in the guys ‘cause they’re comedians yet very talented artists that deserve way more recognition overseas 😔😣
