Oh my goodness! No way!! Your and/or your wife reads My Next Life as a Villainess?! I had no idea! One of my really good friends has been telling me for MONTHS to get it and found a used volume one on my birthday and got it! (Because I echo you on how pricey those volumes are at full price!) YESSSSSS to A Sign of Affection!!! I wonder if my library has Kaze Hikaru! J-Novel Club's physical manga is always so much, which really stinks! There digital manga isn't too expensive but I don't know why they are THAT expensive! Awesome manga haul!!!
Hope you like the Villainess is a good read. Yeah J-Novel needs to get better prices 😂 I dont want to pay them.

I also managed to pick up the rest of Judge this past month. I loved Doubt and had to pick up his other series. Secret is 3 volumes but I think I'll get the digital copies because the physical copies are too pricey.

What a wonderful haul! I have a shit ton of Children of the Whales manga but haven’t started it yet. They were a gift for Christmas. You make me want to take it off my TBR Eventually pile lol and move it to my TBR this year pile lol 😂

I do buy everything brand new but try to do a bigger haul when sales go up on manga, so I do spend those terrible prices but well worth it when you love the series... like My Next Life As A Villianess. Yona of the Dawn is my favorite series though hands down. I just ordered "When Will Ayuma Make His Move?" vol. 1-4(just releasing) to try out looks really cute. I've read online and am really looking forward to the release of "Kubo won't let me be invisible"

I just finished reading Nausicaa. Great stuff. And about Children of the Whales, the first volume took me by suprise too! I have up to volume 18, I love the story and I hope you'll like the rest too cause not many ppl talk about it.
Nausicaa is soooo good! Children of the Whales keeps getting better! I am excited to see where is goes.

Yeah Doubt is deece I think it is a good pickup. Dai is not bad so far. I think it needs to be read in multiples though. I feel like if I read 1 and then waited I would like it less.

Dai dark is so good, I have yet to read dorohedoro but I’m seriously in love with dai dark and Q hayashida’s work.

I got the majority Jujutsu Kaisen's volumes that are available in the UK. I've preordered volumes 14 to 17, and apart from them the only ones I don't have yet are 4, 9 and 11. I recently got my hands on volumes 8 and 17 of Demon Slayer. The only Demon Slayer ones I'm missing now are 10, 11 and 18. I'm trying to catch up on a manga I used to collect when I was a teenager, D.Gray-man, and currently have 17, 22, 23 pre-ordered from the printers, and am looking for 18, 20 and 21 still. Finally I got Haikyuu volume 43, but I'm still struggling to finish off that collection, missing 31, 34-39, 41, 42 and 44. I've been considering Chainsaw Man but I think I've got too much on my plate right now, so maybe if I can complete one of the four I just mentioned.
I definitely recommend Chainsaw Man. Get it when you can, you won't regret it...

Just made some awesome progress on the stuff I listed here! I got volumes 9 and 11 of Jujutsu Kaisen, 31 and 39 of Haikyuu, 10 and 18 of Demon Slayer (only missing 11 now!), AND I bought volumes 1-6 of Chainsaw Man. What's better is there was a 3 for 2 deal in one of the shops I went to so I got 3 of these for free! I'm so glad I went into town today lol :'D

Yea I will but I'ma collect all of The girl from the other side first as the anime that ig came out today I'm not sure but the trailer looks so different and honestly I'd make my collection every more unique

Secret has three volumes. The first volume is oop though. I found a bundle deal on eBay a while back so I'd look out there. Also Dead company is by the same author but no English release yet.

Day on Fes I just started to read and your right it did make me want to go to festival. It has been years since the last time I went to one. The same with my volume 5 of a man & his cat. I saw it at a store and did not know it was volume 5. I thought it was like a side story or something. Did they just forget to put it on there or something? I need to find the rest of deadman wonderland. Also I did not know that volume 3 of how the realist hero rebuilt the kingdom was out. Children of the whales is another one that I need to find more volumes of. Still good video!
Yeah I think they just didint print the 5 on the cat volumes for this print run which is weird that it passed so many people and still happened. Hope you can find the deadmans you need! Side note if you got a list of manga your hunting you can let me know em and I can give you a heads up if I find them for normal prices. I am always hunting!!

i haven't bought a ton of stuff these last few months (i'm a teen and my job is seasonal so i just started back this week) but the other day i picked up 7 volumes (mainly vol 1s of stuff i want to try, but i did grab 3&4 of a silent voice) and i'm excited for them to come in so i can go on a physical manga reading spree! (i read lots of digital) i feel like every time i watch someone talking about their collection i end up with 2 more manga on my to-read list lol

Maybe it's just me, but my Seven Seas published books seem to have some higher quality paper than many other publishers. Maybe that's the reason for the higher price
Not just you my friend they have better quality control and printing. But still some books are overpriced from them big time!

LOL I just the beginning few seconds im guessing haha. Its one of those folding tables so its not 100000% solid. Just used to hold rando stuff. But dont worry I plan on getting a more solid one for projects soon haha

Kaze hikaru is not popular in the west at all, it's why there's maybe 1 volume released a year. Only cus Viz are contractually obligated to finish it likely

The overlord anime is not better than the manga! The light novels are beatifully written and are top tier fantasy, but if you want to get into a less wordy adaptation then the manga is definitely the way to go.
Nice! Now I can def get behind this. I would expect the Novels to most always beat the manga as it should be. Glad you think the manga is good enough as a second place cause I am loving it!
@@TheMangaSloth It definitely does do a pretty good Job as an adaptation, not that many people hype it up because it's pretty far behind(it's actually still behind the anime, although only slightly now). the anime Has some awful cgi and skips some content. Enjoy!
