A Model Card is one of the warning signs; any agent who mentions one is a scam artist.
You are instructed to pay for a model/artist card by fake agencies. They also demand registration/membership fees, which can range from Rs. 500/- to anything.

For my son, one agency told as he got selected for one serial after online audition video. Now they are saying they need photoshoot before they process further. I have already given them portfolio taken from other agency. Once after photoshoot they are saying, they will sign for the payment of the project. Can we trust them. Is it normal that agencies go for photoshoots before taking up any artist. Is it not possible for them to use the same portfolio of other agencies. Please reply back as we need this information before going further here.
