I grew up in Cullman. My Grandfather was head chef at the All Steak for years. After that he and my Grandmother, Ruby went on to host the Swindle Christmas light display for many years.
If everyone knew Cullmans history this video would be very different. Several years ago, Walker Co. had more meth and oxy addicts per capita than any other county in the US. It was a very dry county for decades, then legal alcohol soon brought crime.
I'm not trying to burst your bubble but you are talking to a lifelong Cullman resident and only if you knew the real Cullman this video would be much different
Every town has positive and negative aspects of it. Cullman is no different I’m sure, but we loved our time visiting there and filming all the great stuff we found. Believe me when I say that we’ve been to places all over the state filming, and some have been better than others. Some we chose not to cover at all after seeing it for ourselves. We won’t cover places we don’t think are worth showing to the world. But thanks for watching!
Yes it's so awful that you can walk down any sidewalk at any time of day and not worry about being robbed, raped or shot. Just horrible. Also if it's so bad why are you still there?
It's truly a beautiful city.
My youngest son got married in Cullman and loves his new family, his beautiful wife. They are beautiful people! 🙏🏡💞🎉🙏

Excellent video and I learned a lot!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
Is this a sundown town?
It's 2024, not 1950. No, Cullman is not a sundown town.
It sure is if you’re black… have you seen any blacks there?
I subscribed. I love living here
Thank you!
I'm thinking about running for Mayor

I don't get why it's named after founder, but he spelled it Kullman
Coleman
@@angieholt736 kullman, Coleman isn't even in the ball park.
It's a town, not a lantern
@@independentthinker8930 Johann G. Cullman founded Cullman, Alabama. Closed captions had COLEMAN. Excuse me dear, BUT WE WERE BOTH WRONG.
@@angieholt736 kullman, col John G Kullman, I'm right and know it
@@independentthinker8930 oh, ok. Google is wrong. Should we contact them? He was German. They could have different spelling.
