Sure, but you can not watch it from FAR ! ... in the Daytime you can not use it aswell .. ! You need an Projection Distance of at Least 3 Meters ! check this out 2021 !! ruclips.net/video/hHxKA4JU6BA/видео.html
it does not have much brightnes too and low resolution compared to a cheap projector

and if the front cover was frosted instead of transparent ( better pixel blending)
hi mate .. this was made for an Customer in a Disco.. Behind the DJ Booth .. View Distance about 25 Meters ... so the Resolution is exactly like it should be for 25M View distance .. Thanks for comment .. cheers

Great video and idea! Do the leds have a NIT rating for visibility in sunlight, such as a phone or computer screen? The reason I ask is I am looking for a low cost way to build an outdoor sign display for our church.

It can't be that hard to line up adjacent LED's because they don't line up correctly (especially at the bottom)!!. Good stuff but isn't there a work around to reduce the amount of wires used (and they are of a large gauge too)!!.

What if you cover this screen with a paper or matte material (like a frosted glass)? I think, the image will be smoother.
And it can be helpful for filling the space between pixels

hi, it could not be estimated that way .. these are not 5M Rolls we do Customized orders, solder them on customers lenght so the Prices are a bit differnt .. you guys should check out or ready Made solutions .. are much cheaper rightnow as buying rolls and solder them .. is impossible .. WS2812b is so or so out if 1 LED Fail the rest Circuit is dead .. thats why now WS2813 is on ! send us an email ...

Luca Brgamin einfach gesagt ist das die Auflösung des Bildes deszu mehr LEDs dicht gepackt sind desto höher ist die Auflösung wen das 60 leds Pro Meter sind müsste ich mal na zählen oder hir wo suchen. Um FHD (Full High Definition) 1920 × 1080 Pixel die was man braucht im Seitenverhältnis 16:9 würde man 2.073.600 LEDs brauchen dann macht es eher sind sich fertige Module zu kaufen und die zu kalkulieren. So wie hier gezeigt 1080p zu schaffen da platzt jeder Geldbeutel und der Zeitaufwand wäre enorm. Plus der Platz bedarf.

As a proof of concept it is pretty good but my 70 year old eyes would be streaming if I watched that for more than a few minutes.

I found a whole new hobby in electronics at age 68 years and amazed my family by repairing the video PCB on my daughter's TV in just a few minutes. Couldn't you just use fewer power supplies if they provided more amperage? I see all these wall setups using 4 and more power supplies, but couldn't you use a powerful 5v PS and just run a break-out box for the power outlets? It just seems like that would make for a more mobile setup instead of having to deal with multiple power supplies.
autobotguy I feel like you'd be hard pressed to find a power supply, even a 5v one, capable of handling that much current. Also if it failed it would cost a lot more to replace than having to only replace one smaller one
