Super Sweet! your talent shines , i really love the repurposed window wall, and the upstairs loft book space. Those sliding barn doors are a treat and add so much character. Nicely done you two (and dad)

Nice work. Man if that isn’t a good commercial for the courses Shelter Institute offers, I don’t know what is. Good work all the way around and congratulations Nick and Matt.

I needed this inspiration for my much smaller window greenhouse. I took a Shelter Institute course about 20 years ago and it is still one of the best investments I ever made.

How do you keep the top plate/ beam from bowing outwards, due to the weight of the roof?

I always wonder about these community helpers. Where do they come from? Most of us would have to go into pretty sparse areas to have any hope of affording land, and while people are generally nicer in those situations, they're also more spread out, as are communal activities, taking often years to really get acquainted. Friends aren't likely to travel very long distances just to do gureling labour for you. Are these people met through work or something, maybe fellow tradespeople? One wonders.

Very nice and this construction is very under utilize for green houses. I'm doing a lean-to style timber frame green house off the south side. of our garage.
