When it turned red and it sounded like sirens for a sec there, 1st thought was Silent Hill.
First I thought it was IT then Five Nights then Stranger Things then Alien then back to Stranger Things. No, idea what the source code flash was either at the very end!

I hope we get a Creature from the Black Lagoon this year. I guarantee we are going to have Ghostbusters and possibly A Quiet Place in this year’s Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights.
A quiet place is confirmed and I bet ghost busters will be too. This theme in this trailer looks so much like silent hill.

Pay for the VIP it’s well worth it to not wait in 3 hour lines. Costly but you can literally go through all the mazes in 2 1/2 hours on a Saturday night. Been doing it for years.

Silent Hill - This is definitely a reach, but that siren blare with a shifting of the sky to blood red like symbolically shifting to another world screams Silent Hill to me
Obvious Netflix House Pick Because Universal Needs To Pull In The Casuals (the "I don't like horror but I really like Stranger Things" crowd) - This is sort of like the Free Space in Bingo; Universal always has to have an IP house that is the big draw for crowds for the year. It's nothing for people who follow along with the history/lore of the icons, the town of Carey, or any of that stuff, it's for the regular degular folx who really like Stranger Things, Haunting of Hill House & Bly Manor, or whatever horror/generational trauma show is on Netflix that gets really popular
Obligatory Blumhouse House - Like with the Netflix house, Universal has been partnering with Blumhouse Studios for the last several years and transforming whatever movie(s) Blumhouse puts out that year into a maze
Obligatory Universal Monster House - pretty self-explanatory
Icon Speculation: Adaru/"Fear" - Mainly because of the focus on "Fear not being able to be contained" and maybe someone in A&D reeeeeaaaally liked the Fear character and were disappointed when he premiered to a tepid/lukewarm response during the 20th year event. (But that's just my guess)

But at the very last shot of the USH gates, in the water it has a reflection that kinda looks like something Hazbin Hotel.
It'd be very awesome to have a Hazbin Hotel scare zone, or something, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't think it will happen. ;w;
