I love the camera work, the beauty of the choreography, the individual faces, and how the singing of this psalm works on every separate and musical face. I love how it builds. I love wondering who is playing the first perfect drum beat that is so perfectly in time with your solo and there is it! Your foot, your dark shoe! Almost it disappears, and then it rejoices. Truly tender, precious, harrowing, irresistible. To have the heart remember its dance, and wake the sway, the lungs, the hips, the arms … every time. It is all I can to to try to wait for the silence afterwards.
I was not prepared for how much this moved me this morning. I want everyone I know to hear it. You make such powerful music! Thank you for sharing it with us. So excited to pre-order L’eila and to show this video to my chorus students!!! Thank you, thank you.
Chorus teacher (and friend of Anat Hochberg) here, and I continue to come back to this moving recording. Is there a choral arrangement of this that you'd be willing to share/sell? My students love singing in Hebrew and I think they would be grateful to sing this arrangement! In the meantime, we'll all just enjoy listening to it and bathing in its awesome energy and harmonies!
I have been down in the depths and pulled through with the help of God. This version of the Psalm is very uplifting
If this ain’t the spirit moving, I don’t know what is!❤
What a talent! Amazing, incredibly deep! May Hashem bless you and guide you to perform such spiritual and Jewish music 🎵🎶
