Hi all, thanks for the love on this park! For a bit of context:
I love my realism, hence why I follow Moomin! I've never gone for the over the top theming, which for some can be viewed as boring or not as memorable as a bonkers ride skin made of 3000 pieces of brackets (looking at you Rellimetep!!) but I've always been more realistic and this contest was perfect for me to build within the parameters laid out by Moomin, or should I say, the Council. It means I could relax, strip back and focus on what a low budget park in the UK looks like, and my inspiration mainly was Oakwood theme park in Wales (and our smaller coastal parks like Dreamland in Margate) - it is a lower budget park, sporadic theming, lots of open areas, some good coasters, but overall couldn't compete with the likes of budget, theming and coasters of Thorpe or Alton Towers.
I focused mainly on it being family friendly; a day trip location where your can bring your sandwiches and a football, the kids can grab a wrist band and go on some rides, the family can play a round of mini golf, and you top it off with dinner at the restaurant. I wanted Gulpee land to be a little more bombastic, as if they'd sponsored the area and thus is had a bit more money chucked into it in terms of branding.
I will say this contest was way more difficult for me than New Park, Who Dis and caused me some mixed feelings to the point I wasn't sure of submitting and was about to back out a few days before, but in the spirit of being transparent, in contests you're comparing yourself to other constantly, for some that can be a really great way of learning and growing and truly that's how we should all see it, but for others like me, it's sometimes a little bit more challenging. BUT, I think Moomin's approach to contests is perfect, we're all together and all championing one another in the live streams, giving lots of support and encouragement, it's truly a community. Whilst it's not my finest work, I am still so incredibly proud and humbled to be able to take part, be part of this community, and I am SO proud of my fellow Goodnice members who took part, it's lovely to be part of a community. I would highly suggest to anyone, new or old to planco (and I guess we will all be new to Planco 2 when hopefully we get a new contest next year!!) to silence the niggling and just submit!
Thank you all for the kind comments and good luck in the voting!

So much to love in this park, solid building style throughout with the coloured planks, excellent extra touches like the minigolf and the arcade, banging coasters and a great attention to detail. What a park, well done Shammie, you should be very proud!

I absolutely love this park. The Gulpee land was my favourite. I loved the inclusion of mini golf. The dedication to the spirit of the contest and realism is fantastic. This truly feels like a council funded park. The coasters themselves were a perfect fit for the oakwood vibe and were very smooth!

Brilliant build once again. The less is more saying does the park wonders but is so wrong ! So many pieces all carefully placed. Realism to another level! So many custom images is delight to see :) Even love the custom supports holding the ‘planet coaster’ sign on the woody. Real nice job on this one !

I almost never comment on youtube, but I just wanted to let you know your videos (specifically this contest as there's so much daily content) have been my background noise and visuals for the past two weeks while working endlessly on a project deadline. Whenever I look up to watch visually, I'm always stunned by each contestants parks! I play planet coaster during my weekends and I've learned so many cool tricks and gotten so much inspiration from these videos and the creators in each one. Your commentary along with your guests is always enjoyable to listen to.
I guess all this to say, thank you for the consistent quality content and thanks to the creators for partaking in this contest to provide said content! I really enjoy every single video since I ran into your channel.

What a perfectly detailed and realistic park! Shammie's attention to detail, choice of creating an entire Gluppie Land, and coaster choices helps sell the image of a naturalistic and believable UK-based amusement park. Wonderful work, Shammie!

I love all the little touches like the arcade, the minigolf and the little stage podium. It really gives me that “we’re a natural park and we tried to put some recreational facilities in and then this “theme park” thing became popluar so let’s try some ‘o that aye?” vibe, and I adore it! Bonus points for using that curved Planet Coaster sign so nicely in tandem with the woodie’s final curve.

I love that subtle entrance into the park. It's very creative where you purchase the tickets/wristbands , seeing the rides & the shop that you can hit up at the end of the day!
I'm LOVING that arcade along with that dope floor! Brilliant use of the screen to pull that off! All the touches & details that go into it really make it interesting!
Also a big fan of that Mini Golf ~ that loop is such a fantastic touch!
Shammie knocked it outta the park with that wooden coaster!!! Loved it!
I really liked that log flume layout! I also like the placement of the Gulpee Ferris Wheel that you can see as you float alongside it.
I love all the details from the Live Music, incorporating the ruins into the ride & the theming, the pathing & wheelchair access & lighting.
Well done on this park! Really enjoyed it! ☮& ♥~ Smiling 🙂
