Although a lot of people could take this as a suicide song, you could definitely take it as a positive song as well. When she says "jump" it's almost like; take the chance. There's a possibility people may not notice your efforts but you also never know. It's kind of motivating if you look at it from that perspective.

@@wsiderwicz99 Yeah I think of it as "if I take the risk, I know it will hurt to fail, but I won´t be afraid of failing" Or in the literal sense also when I jump from bridges and swing in a rope above a dangerous river. I think about how painful it would be to fall into the river, but I don´t mind falling in the rope. It´s really intense tho haha

She told in an interview that she got the inspiration for "Jump" by watching a picture on Tumblr of a dude (I think) near to a cliff, I have never thought the song was about suicide though, makes more sense now.
