    About the bike keys...we have two juggernaut fs pros and the same key unlocks both battery compartments. the second bike we got roughly two months after the first. Also very dissapointed about the 52v? batteries...when the battery percentage guage reads about 30% the battery will cut out dead, no power, both bikes do it!! if you shut down the power and turn it back on the juice returns for like 1 more miniute. it will do this every time you cycle power on and off 30% to 0% untill you fully charge the battery again. love the bike but the battery problem absoutly sucks!! Biktrix support doesent understand, they just tell me to change battery percentage to voltage which i dont understand ,im not happy about it...we bought two of these bikes!!!

      Hey R2D2, I have to wonder if that’s a battery management system setting? A lot of ebike manufacturers don’t recommend discharging below 30% to preserve the life of the battery. In my own experience I have not noticed this because I’m not discharging that far typically and if it’s a longer ride add the 2nd battery.

    Man I ordered one last week, its coming soon, cant wait. I got the same size and color, but I dont think it came with the rack which I really like, and I should have got the light, but I did upgrade the brakes to the quad, got an extra battery and an extra set of 27.5 wheels for when I go in the summer on the trails here in Idaho, but will enjoy the 26x4 in the winter snow. God bless.

      Hey James, great taste! I think you’re going to love it and the brake upgrade was a good call because there is a lot of momentum to slow down when ripping down a hill.

    Why wouldn’t you use the frame for for the line of sight to set the steering stem instead of looking at fresh air ,you gotta ask yourself.

    • @jeff_doyle
      @jeff_doyle  10 месяцев назад

      It’s really simple, in a bike like this the handlebars control the direction of the front wheel so when a rider turns the handle bars the front wheel turns. When tightening the stem you want the handle bars perpendicular to the front wheel, 90 degrees on both sides. Lining it up with frame could get you off center with the wheel, like 100 degrees and 80 degrees. I guess you have to ask yourself if that’s what you want but it’s not what I wanted.

    How well does it do on hills?

      It flies up hills I couldn’t make with pedaling alone

      @@jeff_doyle don’t know much about this model. Is it a mid drive?

    Was thinking about getting one for myself it would help me get deeper in the sticks quietly and quickly.

    • @jeff_doyle
      @jeff_doyle  2 года назад +2

      It’s far quieter than I expected. Almost no noise from the motor.

    What size batteries did you get, and do you have sense of what your average range is?

    • @jeff_doyle
      @jeff_doyle  Год назад +1

      I have the stock 17.5ah in frame and the 13ah extender. For me that’s an amazing amount of assistance. The results may vary, depending on elevation gain and how much you ride the throttle.

      @@jeff_doyle Great, thank you! I was curious what size extender fits in there, as it looks like a tight fit.

    Sick bike. Did the bike rack come with it? I don’t see them offering the rack on their website.

      Hi Plamen, sorry for the late response. The FS Pro 2 has a rear fender and rack upgrade option customers can add to their order when building their eBike.

    Thanks for posting your experience ! I'm about to drop my yearly bonus on a Juggernaut, but I'm having a hard time deciding between the Ultra FS pro, Pro 2, and Pro 3. Was there any particular reason why you choose the Pro (1) over the Pro 2 or 3?

    • @jeff_doyle
      @jeff_doyle  2 года назад

      At the time the Pro 3 didn’t exist yet but those bigger tires would be cool on snow. I found the 4.0 working well for me but don’t have experience with a 4.8.

      @@jeff_doyle Thanks Jeff! (just realized that I misspoke ...you got the Pro "2", not the Pro) . Have you ever tried to reach the bikes top speed? I plan to order the bike with the motor "unlimited" and Biktrix was very evasive when I asked them. I understand that they have to legally cover themselves, but I'd still like to know if the motor's potential is truly "unlimited". I currently have a Magnum Nomad. Its a fun bike, but I'd like to step up to a mid-drive with more power. How for up in NH do you live? I live on the North Shore in Mass. Just curious.

    Hey Jeff, another great video.
    You're a pretty pragmatic guy, so I'm curious what made you pull the trigger on this particular bike vs some of the other top end e bikes?
    I'm considering an e bike too so I'm interested to know.

      It’s from Canada! Beyond the sizing, and full suspension they are a fairly big player in the ebike market and this bike has a good bang for the buck on when comparing the components like (motor, fork, rear suspension, tires, and brakes). Lastly they were one of a few companies that wanted to support the channel.

      Prices are on the Biktrix website, I haven’t tried a BAKCOU but I’ve really been enjoying this bike. So glad to have the full suspension.
