10 years later and yes the flaws made this all the more enjoyable, hahahahahaha.......I loved it. And that back up lady is such an angel. She understood her assignment and she delivered.
Ruky, that was awesome. I know that you are a star already and nothing can take that away from you. Its just unfortunate that MTN won't allow me to vote from where I am. Keep it up. Love you
Nine years later I am still here. I wonder where this lovely Urhobo girl is now! BTW, the reason I have refused to learn Yoruba is all over the comments here: Other tribes encourage people to learn their languages but yorubas discourage and criticize you when you try to speak their language. I was born in ILE-IFE and grew up seeing Yoruba Bible in my house which I can read very well yet I never list Yoruba among the eight languages I speak!
@emmanuelakpowhe8719 ...I've read all the comments hereand can't find anything or anyone saying something negative... but feel free to do or say whatever makes you happy. Many of us are here cos we love the song and the positive emotion that it brings.
I am sorry to be a spoil joy, the performance is a 60% to me. Timing went wrong a lot of times, her voice was shaky a couple of times, and yes, you could tell she didn't get a hold of the lyrics and the pronunciation wasn't great at most points. I really know Christy could have done way way better for her quality of talent. Stage performance was very enjoyable though and it was good to hear the song again.
@@augustineonaodowan9693That is Yorubas for you. If you try to speak their language they will tell you you are murdering their language. I have left their language for them. I speak 8 languages but Yoruba isn't one!
2024 still here

The voice is very different from the real one after listening to both not quite long. I search the original and this one is nonsense.
You are mad o. If you like the original so much, then go and listen to it and leave this one

Yes Rukky you got a good voice but you damaged the lyrics. Next time dear please you and team learn the songs very well.God bless.
She is late already
Who is late? Rukky?@@aminatyakub480
U tried
.
Why was she chewing her songs, and she didn't get some lines at all.
Because she neither speaks the language nor understands it. It is pleasurable to listen to music in strange language but not always easy to sing in it
Nice try but no one will ever be on Christy's level.
She unfortunately murdered that song. Language is key if you're singing in a non-English language - learn the words! What a waste of an orchestra
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
That your "shut up" they give life.
Very refreshing.
You @ope yemi, you go just open mouth they yarn trash, if it's so easy do your own make we see na, yen yen yen yen yen. Mtcheeew.
