You can even use ATK goblet instead of pyro dmg bonus based on which one have good substats.

Here's the thing the people needs to Understand. EM sands will deal more melt damage. But the damage that you don't melt will significantly be lowered. ICD is against you. Especially at C0 where you really can't 1 shot a lot of enemies.
Absolutely right, you can't guaranteed enemy will always get implied by the element you want to make reaction with. So focus on pure dmg is still the best choice in building character
I think EM sands is better in cases like hu tao that have a guarantee to vape in every hit (double hydro) ofc the big dmg of ult will be better and some drift with bike but how about the rest so is more worth it to get EM on substats
This is just wrong lol. The melt damage is way more to the point that it compensates for the non meltable hits(and by a lot). Atk% is only better if you don't know how to melt ur hits (or playing her in mono pyro but mono pyro is way worse than her reaction teams).even then the big meltable nuke at the start is usually enough for most content so idk why you'd ever play her with atk%
i will be honest here to me em is reducing the total damage the characters provide as if every character can use the max potential from what you provide its more efficient than just the reactions during combos as we talk about 15k to 20k per character skill and burst off field and in field

personally, i need to do a lot of testing because apart from bennett and WGS, i also have c2 xilonen. so those are SOOO many atk sources. ive been playing around having EM sands and/or using an EM weapon like mailed flower. it's very fun and she does so much damage.
i have c1R1 Mavuika and c0 citlali (prefarming since 5.0) if you use citlali purely for melt, give her 1000Em if you can, so you don't have to put a EM sand on mavuika, try to give mavuika at least 40% crit rate, 60 would be best because she can reach 100% with obsidian codex, and prioritize EM as substat over crit dmg/rate and atk if you can, i have 152 with an atk sand so its like having an EM sand, just with melt so no bennet, no sucrose/xilonen or similar i do 700k with 172% crit dmg which is more than 200 during burst and skill if you have an atk claymore, give a EM sand over an atk sand if you have a crit claymore, give atk and optimize substat so you have 100+ EM if you have an EM claymore, then is your choice based on the team comp you wanna use with her for vaporize xingqiu is good, yelan is mid cause sometimes she's gonna do the vaporize instead of mavuika, furina is for premium but if you have her she's the best one for vaporize teams in my opinion for melt layla and kaeya are good f2p units, citlali is basically multiplying mavuika's damage and ganyu if you already have her she's a cryo applicator and a main dps depending on how you use her f2p claymores for mavuika are mailed flower, almost any atk claymore (i've seen people use akuoumaru, idk if mavuika's fighting spirit stacks), blackliff slasher if you have it just want to help if someone is confused on how to build her, for anything or if I missed or said something wrong, just ask

I play her with Bennet on instructor in my account EM or ATK perform very similar (its hard to tell if one of them is better because Furina's buff varies a lot)
I have c2 mav and still EM sands gave me a higher initial burst. I even tried sucrose instead of xilo to see if having more em(sucrose gives em through passives) would diminish but it didn't lol it still outperformed the attack sands(which had better substats than my em sands). I'm in high contender of just using em sands at this point at least if you are using signature
Why are you using cinder city on both xilonen and citlali? Isn't the effects can only be activated by one character in the team? Isn't that why people use instructor set on one of them rather having cinder city on both of them?

Citlali is almost the perfect support for Mavuika, if you want to upgrade your melt/permafrost teams its a great option, but I think that overall Furina is better for most teams and also works very well with Mavuika

in the EM test, you didnt crystalize pyro, so xilonen didnt actually buff mavuika that much (-40% pyro dmg bonus)
