in my opinion it's a modern montown vibe with a bass player that's a cross between James Jamerson and Bootsy Collins and a crazy groove band, but more on the groove side and not rock.

I love both this version and the original. They hit me differently. The PREP's version makes me feel like I in my mid thirties or forties, sitting on the porch on a sunny day, reminiscing about all the hardship that I've been through with a smile, like it's a sad life but I've still made it somehow. The orginal by Harry Styles is totally different. The fastter rhythm makes me feel like I'm sweping away in life, so busy that I don't even have time to look back, one minute I was just 18, a moment later and I am already 30. Time flies too fast, and everything is slipping through my finger, which I'm regretting that I can't hold them back. Great song and great performance by both

Then added him on TikTok where they list the song & artist and VOILA! This is sooo much better than Harry's version. Chill 80's vibe to it. This will be blaring from my car! It's car cruising music!

A música é mesmo mágica não meus caros? Nunca uma canção se limita a uma versão, e fica um universo livre de alternativas de se fazer releituras tão boas quanto essa. Todo mundo tem parte nisso, desde o primeiro que recebeu a inspiração de criar a música seja pela letra ou pela melodia, até nós que já percebemos logo de cara uma música boa que de fato, toca.
Algumas são magicas mesmo! Mas no caso dessa...a versão ficou mágica. A original não achei tão boa assim.
