It has the flavor of Granados and De Falla in it, but by far more poetic in scope. It is a shame that to this day no one actually had the guts to produce the entire score of this fabulous little masterpiece of independent film making. Robert Redford may have been celebrated as an actor in his own time, but as a director he surpassed many others with this little tale of courage, endurance,... and yes, even stubbornness against all odds. I love the movie (I have it in my collection of all time favorites) and I even love more Dave Grusin's music, which in its movie format is simply outstanding.

Amazing artist whose wonderful music captured the culture of this film so well. Of course the actors knocked it out of the park as well.
