    thank you so much, im currently making game for my exams and ur videos really help me a lot, one thing i didnt do is probably the new input system because i found it too complicatedi hope you're gonna blow up

      I have one on melee combat in top down games. You can follow this concept and alter it for your platformer - or look for another tutorial :-) I’m currently making a top down series so won’t do platformer stuff again for a while!!

      @@GameCodeLibrary Thanks ill use that and somewhat make it work ig. Do you know any good tutorials on npcs since i want to make a village in my game with villagers that when you hit them say someting in a speech bubble like 'hey leave me alone'

      @@sunrisedesigns There's a few good npc dialogue tutorials on youtube! But those are mostly with the chat box popups.
      For text over the head, I'd look at the tutorials for damage text that appears when hitting enemies and instead of damage numbers you replace it with the text from the npc - that's how I'd probably go about it anyway :p
      I'll be making some npc tutorials within this tutorial series too - so I'll steal your idea and add some basic speech bubbles over the head too >:-)
