@@spinebender1the movement in fight night is garbage compared to this movement. They need to fix the animations of the movements and let it flow. In this vid they didn’t use a spec of footwork, just throwing punches and combos.
All FNC had was dash steps in any direction, the bob and weave going forward, and lean. This implemented the slips, pullbacks, lean, pivots(recently added), rush, dash steps, weight shifts and more. Just need to be pieced up right and they got it.
Looks like good progress. It would be good to see the dropped fighter get straight back up sometimes, like in a flash knockdown. The playable part can be following the ref's instructions, 'walk over here', 'walk to me' etc. Also, the crowd reaction needs to be bigger, to big punches that stun as well. There should be a roar that adds to the drama and suddenness.
Knockdowns look better. Add sound effects when they hit the canvas, bounce off the canvas and clean up the animations a bit more. Starts too look repetitive
Animations need changing for whenever someone gets out down. Not everyone dies, some recover and get straight back onto their feet. Maybe need a trait of this, but consume energy especially if not taking the knee, have some animations so they get out down but in knees and recovering, dazed. Have animations so when opponent is knocked down, your player moves away and goes to the corner. Change animation so you can see the person on the ground in ososibkr various angles as you work the system in getting back up. Or maybe it had a better feel with it when seeing the lights. Just change camera angles from jusr behind your fighter if he's on the knee, dazed and recovering to grt up by the 9 count. Lots of mad things to add to make it realistic. Camera angle is too quick for me too.
So much I'd change. Hopefully they will listen to the players about what needs changing and fixing. The main thing is that it feels like the punches don't have any power to them (pillow punches). Take notes from fight night champions or even UFC 4. A vulnerability system maybe would help.

They needed the funding that early access provides. Xbox and Playstation games need to be actually finished to be in the store. I do enjoy the game though. It will be worth the wait for console players.

The punches seem like they don't have any "ooumph" to them, it sort of just looks like they are throwing with their arms and very stiff looking. Maybe some more animations of them twisting at their hips for big punches and spinning their feet when punching; it sort of looks like every punch is flatfooted and doesn't show any aggression. Everything else about the game looks great

Looks ok. But the lack of respect of Rocky Marciano is extremely relevant. Maybe the creators been to look at his training regimen. He was an animal. He hit you, he hurt you. That was any where. Exactly. Fight night was so good. Just needed an updated version and it would destroy all competition(not too much).

No matter what hand or angle they get hit with they always fall straight back. The motion is off
