    I love how the music has no lyrics... it doesn't have a set tone or feel to it. It leaves it open to the listener and affects each of us differently. Truly a piece of art and truly the work of a true artist.

    There are some music in this beautiful world which can make you feel vulnerable to your senses and feelings. This is one of them. Whenever I'm sad or deeply hurt or feel lost , and I want to cry but I can't ? This music just gives me all of those strength to just let it all out and cry.
    Don't think that I'm saying this music is sad. I'm saying it's emotional. There has been many times I've used this in garden just relaxing , or driving through country feeling happy for the drive ....but this music has always been with me for it's emotions .
    Thank you Helen for a masterpiece out of Porcelain.

    I've been playing guitar for 4 years and piano for 3 years and I realize that this piece is pretty simple and it may not take much musical talent to PLAY it; however creating it, now that is a different story.

      Dont be fooled by simplicity. Ive played some pieces on the spot, written them out then came back later to play them and had to actually learn the song.

    Your breath on my ear when you whisper;
    your touch on my face;
    golden curls
    and golden eyes;
    an admonishment;
    a predicament;
    an angry word
    that passed by;
    a cat's meow;
    a grey flannel suit,
    cut by an angel;
    early morning in a redwood forest in Big Sur;
    a sinking ship;
    fear that has no name,
    and love without shame,
    These are but memories,
    just poems,
    as they pass through
    my soul
    I remember you.
    No, je ne regrette rien.
    No, je ne regrette rien.
    Yes, had to catch my breath a few times. Merci.

    Helen Jane Long, more talent than you can dream to ever have. She began training as a classical pianist at age 4, moving on to also learn clarinet, guitar, cello, vocals, organ, and violin. Now your first comment talks about how some music takes no talent, all because you have no talent and can play a few chords, please do us all a favor and lets not compare what you can do to someone that has been playing music their whole life.

    it can fill you with joy

    Music has the power to alter our moods and outlook on the wonders of our lives. All the turmoil in this world, all the conflict, every argument, all of that is meaningless when listening to the power of music. In the musical world, humanity is united.
