Am I the only one that thinks every needle should have penetrated the Elite's armor until the "Super combine" occurred to then result in an explosion thus killing it or at least stripping it of it's shields? I think they got it WAY wrong. They weren't supposed to deflect like that🤦♂️
Pay attention to the games, the single rounds explode on their own after some seconds, but when they supercombine, the target basically gets vaporized.
@@ljmzdevthey do explode but the explosion isn't nearly as volatile at the one here either. We've seen Marines survive needler rounds, both on contact and with them exploding without a super combine.
What? Master Chief was absolute badass in this episode and in every fight scene he's on. Vannak here was actually very stupid and dies very dumb way. There is absolutely no way a spartan would die that way in close combat. The moment he sees that those rounds are just deflected off of elites armor and when it even too one off it's chest, a real spartan would have retreated to a better position. Then again writers are dumb in this series and Vannak had to fight against plot shield of that elite.
@@TheAns51 There's nothing badass about refusing to wear a helmet/armor + screaming nooo when an alien is killing your friend. I agree that the writers are the worst part of this series, but I'm pretty sure the actor's refusal to avoid hiding his face is contributing to it.
@@captain_clean The spartan suits were stolen in the previous episode. Marine armor is essentially useless against alien tech. Him wearing any armor available to him at the time would be pointless.
@@dommers3382 When Obi-Wan told Anakin in Attack of the Clones that his lightsaber was his life... same principle with a spartan and his or her armor. You don't lose it. If they wanted an outgunned/outmanned plot they should have focused on marines and not made the spartans so helpless.
@@captain_clean The point in this episode is that Ackerson _wants_ the Spartan IIs to fail to spite Halsey. As for Chief screaming "No!" when an Arbitor was killing his friend... if you watched the episode you'd know that Chief was severely wounded by a Plasma Rifle (which gave us a very hilarious "You stole my kill!" moment), so him even being _conscious_ at this point is an attribute of his augmentations and training.... but when you're seeing someone who you've known for literal _decades_ about to die, and can do nothing to for him? You try and remain stoic in the face of that.
Add this to the "in-retrospect halo tv show wishlist" but a "I'm ready, how 'bout you" grab onto the arbiter with the needler explosion would've made it a much more satisfying end and a homage + fan-pleaser moment ..which this show avoids like it's a priority. The arbiter would've been wounded but survive (like John), and it sets up higher stakes for their next fight
For crying out loud we already know this show gonna suck Let’s stop watching so it can frickin die More watch it makes money so it gonna continue playing
Real spartan will not look and accept their fate, they fight until they died.
How about he behaves like a spartan and takes out the needle of his chest, instead of looking at the camera?
That is what I thought when the episode aired, what he supposed to do instead of staring and accept his fate.
why are elites attacking master chief without his armor on??
Stop watching so this show can die.
Woke nonsense. You can’t grow with diversity without sacrificiting quality
Who says he didn’t pirate it?
Sad he died :(

why did he explode with only 1 needle in him? dont multiple needles need to penetrate in order for them to blow up?
singular needles explode but a supercombine is a much larger explosion from several needles

When the other Spartan acts more like a Spartan than Master Chief. 🤦🤦♂🤦♀

Glad they reworked it. If they went with how it sounded in the game it would sound so corny lol "pew pew pew"
Bait.
Noob hold it down
