I used a dremel on mine, and just made a couple of divots at the top of the stove so the grill fits flush on top. Still trying to decide if I want to cut a hole on the side, since I can easily feed from the top, and the material helps hold more heat. Thanks for the video and ideas!
That's kool... or HOT should I say!!! Where did you get the base at,? it may make a nice compact charcoal starter For my rectangle hobo grill, I'm using a grate from grillgrate. Get on their mailing list for they have warehouse sales 2-3 times a year. Their grate is made of anodized aluminum utilizing a raised rail system to transfer heat making very nice sear marks and the valleys vaporize drippings for added flavor and moisture. For me using these grates make my meat more flavorful, perhaps its in my head.
Half and half makes them even creamier;) They super pasteurize it now so it does stay fresh in room temperature for at least 24 hrs (I accidentallyleft half a carton out once).
Mise en place means, everything is prepared. Stocks, side dishes, etc. It means, pre cocking is key.
that grill is havier than the stove itself :O

Awesome video, love your idea, keep them coming...
I saw someone use a 120mm computer fan grill for the top... I ordered a few and will try it out on my hobo stove. 👍🏽

Yes. I also like half and half when scrambling eggs. Sometimes I bring those little single serving cups.
Este é um Escorredor de TaLer E meu amigo obrigado 👍
Nice! (Great ideas.)
Just plain water is the best thing to add to your eggs to keep them moist.
Can you tell me where I can get a grill top like you used here.
I don't understand what you said in the video.
Great video !
Good stuff. You don't have to cook the eggs so long, especially if you like them light and fluffy.
Where do you get the little grills?
I think the heavy one is the bottom grill from a Weber Smokey Joe. Very heavy duty, and will take forever and a day to wear out.
Here's the one I bought. Very heavy duty.
