Hi there, I’m a subject matter expert on Excel. I’ve a suggestion here when you mentioned that we can’t have the unique list on other worksheet using Advanced Filters. You may go to a new sheet and start applying the Advanced Filter from that blank sheet. Now select the Table range from the sheet where your table lies. Keep copy to another location radio button selected. Finally put the new sheet cell selection in Copy To section and you are good to go. Unique entries will get pasted. I hope this helps. Thanks! :)

Two other disadvantages: 1) the Copy operation is one-shot, i.e. that new table is not updated automatically when changes are made to the table, and 2) an existing standard filter bar is removed when the advanced filter is used. I have assigned unque ids to these houses but the challenge is these houses will come more than once but i want to capture their names once to avoid double counting but also caputure the kg of plastic they bring and the money the make. Is there a way of easily finding values that are not repeated. So in the case of a list of 1,5,1,7,3,5,7,6, it would only bring back 3 and 6 as they are not repeated.

Hi Jon, I have created a very nice dashboard thanks to your very popular Intro to Pivot Tables video. Just like Andy I had a large data set and successfully converted it to several nice dashboards. I have one thing that is hanging me up and it is very annoying. I have created a dashboard with two bar graphs and a 'target' line going straight across it. I added data labels to the data so it was easier to read, but every time I save the file it converts both of my bar graphs to different formatting. It takes away the data labels and it changes the chart with a different type of line for the bar graph. How can I fix this problem? This does not happen to the other 5 dashboard pages I have but it does with this one.

No. In some cases you may have all duplicate values as shown in this video. That time removing duplicates means you are removing all your values which is not the solution.

You can use the UNIQUE formula and it will achieve exactly the same result plus you can use the formula on any worksheet

Yes it is also it's dynamic but the main issue is that you need Excel 365 for Unique in the stand alone or older version is not present.
