The first part of the song is awesome indeed, yet its that hauntingly beautiful second part that gives me the chills every single time and that makes me literally NEED to listen to this song every week.
Absolutely gorgeous. Got my vinyl copy today and it moved me to tears! I've only recently become acquainted with it's sounds, but I'm already hopelessly in love.
Picture, as I am, a guitar in its stand. In doing so we are picturing it in its state of inertia. At rest. Emitting no sounds whatsoever. Suppose though, there exists the polar opposite of this inertial state. A state in which the essence of the guitar is unleashed, and to play it is to interrupt it, regardless of talent. A state in which the noises that come out of it resonate at a degree of infinite precision so as to satisfy whatever receptacles and auditory processing units we have in our heads. Well, I think I just witnessed just that.
first of all, I am a post rock lover. I gave this album at least 5 to 6 listenings before I write this. im very sorry to tell you that this album is overrated by fans. honestly, it isn`t that good. it's ok though but nothing out of this world. if we are going to talk about very good albums of the 2015 I would say God is an astronaut new album is by far much better than this. Oh Hiroshima also released a very very good album recently. This one doesn't convince me at all
+Tristan Quezada Diaz I disagree. I love this album. Especially this song, it just takes you with it. But he, its all a matter of taste. Dont know Hiroshima, but gonna check em out.
+Tristan Quezada Diaz for me, Caspian is one of the best post-rock bands there is, and this song is one of their best songs. It depends on your tastes and preferences. Also, I found the new GIAA album quite generic, but maybe I need to get more into it.
GIAA is/was one of my favourite bands, and their newest album was awful. Their last two albums have all but confirmed that they've lost their identity and spark as a band. It's a shame, because they had possibly the most idiosyncratic sound of any post-rock, ever. Dust and Disquiet is a harrowing epic; I'm sorry you feel otherwise.
I love this song so much. This band will never know how much they helped me through life. Thank you for your brilliance
10:15~10:45 sounds like the guitar is crying... this song is beautiful, too beautiful, especially the finale
that feel
A legendary title track.
I'm blessed I get to hear this kind of music at young age. The moment I've heard gone in bloom and bough I fell inlove
this song is so beautifully painful and so painfully beautiful
can't stop listening to this
So much soul. A story told without words!
The first 4 and a half minutes of this song is one of the most beautiful thing I have ever heard

In a lost of an important person just remain Dust and disquiet
what program did you use to make the video for this? i'm specifically interested in the background with the light and dust.

+Luis Amador most probably after effects+ trapcode form plugin
Does anyone else hear a bird tweet/whistle at 9:24-9:25? Not sure if this is intentional or not.

As post rock lover myself, I respectfully disagree with everything you just said.

It's not a fucking contest. That's what you are making this out to be.

Their previous album was much better. This one is very emo-like...
