I was devoted to him but he cheated on me and left me to deal with all the hurt and pain . But I now know I did my best and I was the one who was faithful and he wasn’t it’s his loss .
Chase, I love this version of this song that you made, along with Keith Urban's. Honestly it takes me back to my younger days, when I was in love for the first time and finding out it was never teally love on their behalf, despite giving him all of my love and supporting him through his struggles 💔 After all of these years I've been clinging onto these hurt feelings, hoping his mind would change and that he would come back to me, even though that is never going to happen, despite all the effort that I put into our relationship and future. This song makes me realize that I did everything I could, and how should put in the effort that I gave to him towards my future plans and goals in life. Thank you Chase ❤️

It gets easier, and you realize any guy who can do that isn't worth your time. It sucks when you don't get closer. I was with mine for 6 years, and then he stopped answering my calls and text. He was going through some health problems and gave him some leeway, but after months of not knowing how he was doing (it was during lockdown). I told him I was done being an afterthought.
