  • Still in the production phase. Waiting for more videos and pictures to add to this... Lemme know if you have any from this training to add to the video! If I don't receive more soon, I'll figure out an alternate ending. LOL

    1:57 I am curious what the load on IDs is.
    I think there is about 150 kg each if two people are transported.

    Excellent video! Whether planned, or not, the rope failure was awesome and it was a perfect example for those in training. Perhaps the most important lesson one can learn is to constantly have plans and back-ups for failures.

      Thank you. Yes, the failure was planned. It was part of the training scenario.

      Thank you. It went black because, like the title suggest, it's unfinished. I was waiting for more videos & pics from others to finish it (but I haven't received any more yet).

    I was curious to see what the load cells were showing. I haven't seen that system with knots in the Highline. I think the Highline's highest potential load was 20kn at each end. Divided by the (2) ropes 10KN. The CMC Clutch will start to slip at 10KN. Shows the level of expertise they are working at. Not just playing the "rule of thumb," playing by the rules.

      I should have said the info on the clutch. I couldn't tell what rope they were using.

      I don't recall what the load cells read.

      Peak load was 4.46KN static in the tension lines using the relative angles of the system assuming the dummies and equipment weight about 1KN. The shock absorber did not deploy so the vertical component with the 2 patients experienced less than 4kN dynamic.

    How long would it take for a team to set this up?

    • @chillyh51
      @chillyh51  2 года назад

      It would depend on the size of the team and the experience of the team. It is manpower intensive.
