Hard to believe that Rylee is only 19 and is on a national platform to show her skills. And, Stephen...he just blended his gymnastic prowess with dance right on point. Great great routine.
Stephen can perform! And he has this ability to fully embody the character or vibe he’s meant to have in each dance like no one else on this season. Even on his off weeks, you can’t say you weren’t entertained. He’s just so good, especially for someone with no background in performing. Then this performance just took it to a whole new level. I was transfixed. Well done, Stephen!
The beginning up to about 00:24 was amazing cause of his commitment to the character. His little slither up Rylee and when he turned his head as he went down to the handstand gave me chills
ok but 0:42 is one of the most impressive damn moves ive seen a star and pro do in sync lol. That move takes so much strength and they both just skated past it with ease. This was easily Rylees best choreo and so deserving of a 10. Stephen broke out with this dance!
Agreed! He should of got 3 tens! And, also Joey should have got 3 tens as well! Joey and Stephen were the two best dancers that night! They deserve to go to the finals! I haven't been voting yet this year but when they come back November Tuesday the 12th I'm going to put in some votes for both Joey and Stephen and I have three emails to do so....I live in Canada so I can vote and I have voted in the past for contestants but a lot of times even if I did vote the person never went to the end but this time around I hope if I put in some votes this time it can help add up to everyone else's votes that other viewers put and I mean viewers do seem to like Joey and Stephen sinse they are still there so yeah if I can help it out a bit more and keep them in this they can make it all the way but I'm only one person they need the whole world on their sides to make them go all the way because both Stephen and Joey deserve to go to the very top, final two and one them deserve to win heck I'd let it be a tie for them both to win get two mirror ball trophies I know that can't happen but still they are the best two dancers this season!
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am speechless! That was fabulous creepy! Should have got all 10s!!! His jumps felt like he was flying! He looked so light!! 💡🔦 The production of this show is incredible. The band, the costumes, the makeup, and of course the dancers are all amazing. This was amazing! Rylee’s great choreography and Stephen’s amazing athletic ability was perfection. It told such a great story and Stephen was really into his character. I held my breath through the entire routine!! Watching Stephen be this character was just off the charts!!! The choreography he is given every week is so challenging and it's hard to believe that he has zero dance experience! He is killing it!!! My absolute favorite of the night so far!!!
Felt just like a horror movie very good job Stephen and Riley. This contemporary was excellent and really showed a lot of athleticism from both of them.
Definitely Stephen's best dance so far! Riley's Halloween choreography felt just as fresh and excited as Daniella's did. I hope they continue down this road for rest of the season.

This was INCREDIBLE - it reminded me a little bit of the 'Addiction' routine from SYTYCD years ago (Kayla and Kupono); just how dominant Stephen was in this routine and how much evil intent he put into even the smallest arm movements - so so good!!
I’m sooo happy for them that they got a 10 but even then, it felt underscored. The judges need to stop being so biased. I want Stephen and Rylee in the finals
The best (and worst/scariest) part of this dance is when you remember that Stephen can't SEE without his glasses. He is blind while performing this dance. Yet in perfect step and time.
That must be so hard but he does it so well....Stephen deserves a spot in the finals beside Joey....and I wish they could both win, because both of them are great dancers this season on this show! I don't like anyone else I'm actually really surprised Ilona is still there she's so freaking stiff and so is Danny and Dwight! Those three need to go home! I'm sorry if that sounds mean but people have to go home and they are doing the worst I mean I'm sorry but they are not improving I don't see it at all, they are so freaking stiff looking when they move!
this and the joji waltz are some of my favorite stephen dances. I love the music, story, and the tricks!! when stephen slid into the creepy handstand crawl, it looked so cool!! go stephen and rylee!!!
This dance was outrageously good for such a young choreographer to create and a novice dancer to learn and execute. I agree with all the positive comments I see here and can't even find words to express myself. But, I have one strong suggestion for the DWTS powers that be. SHOW us, VISUALLY, what Stephen actually sees or can't see when he is dancing and interpreting. The video clip was of a nice, frank discussion between the 2 of them, and Stephen obviously will never use his vision as an excuse....BUT, I would really like people to see what he sees to understand how much more remarkable are his accomplishments!
I absolutely love the flipped script of all these acrobatic lifts and flips being performed by the man instead of the woman, a zombie at least! You don't expect an agile zombie! 😂 Also love the classic male gymnast clap + arm flex of victory. I can just hear Ian Gunther's "LETS GOOOO"

He excels in contemporary and modern because it’s not so technique driven in terms of specifics that are required in other styles. With this style he has more freedom with his body and his shortcomings are hidden and even made to look beautiful!!
Celebrity/athlete status aside, Chandler’s dance won best of the night for me. Stephen’s and Joey’s dances were next in line. Choreography was so good and they have the skills to back it up. They are all locking in! Next dance is going to make or break it for them.
I love him but this isn’t a perfect dance, that’s why! It was definitely an improvement from last week though, he tends to do better with more slowed down choreography.
@@LaXeditzz well yes!! I still think his timing is off in certain parts and this routine was filled with more tricks than dance which isn’t his fault but I would’ve given it 9s if CAI hadn’t overinflated all of the scores with handing out 10s like it’s candy
@ but that’s what a contemporary routine is. A lot of choreographers love when they can do tricks. I personally think this deserved all 10s or atleast 2 10s but I will have to agree CAI judging was screwed up this week
As a gymnast, that was probably one of the easiest moves for him to do since gymnasts learn at a very young age how to roll, fall, and land safely on their bodies without getting hurt too badly
@@elenajoseph6630yep, dive rolls you learn pretty early on in (competitive) gymnastics. I had to do them in level 5 routines. But on a hardwood floor instead of a springy one…ouch. Makes me wince still
