I'm grateful for love I share with my husband. With God in the center of our relationship there is so much joy and peace and rest and friendship shared with us.
Candace, Thank you so much for reminding me that my quiet time with God doesn't have to look just like anyone else's. The days I don't "carve out" a bigger consecutive amount of time, I tend to feel like I have failed! I find myself having meaningful moments with Him throughout my day, and that is okay too!!
My daughter and I went to the Cain concert in OKC with Kati and David Leonard and it was wonderful and did feel like a worship time, and so much fun too! My worship time used to be in my car on my way to work. No radio, just me and God. It’s been different since I retired now I do pray through out the day or thank God but I also enjoy my prayer time and doing the Bible Recap with Tara Leigh Cobble. Just go to God when you feel that stirring, that’s the spirits nudge. Loving the podcast!
Yay to a new episode lol I’ve already binged all the others. I’m new here and have to say, I love how I feel when I watch/ listen. Truly makes my day and spirit happier. Thank you.
2 reasons why repentance is hard: 1. Sin is desirable to turn away from. 2. In christian denominations, "repentance" is misconstrued as "penance" thereby erroneusly making it a physical ritualistic act (say this many prayers for this many times..) which does not fix the root of the problem and in most cases, people don't have time for that. Repentance is simply surrendering and coming towards the end of yourself: "Take these away from me, Lord." , "Lord, take my life." Sadly, it takes a lot of pain and bad experiences to shatter our ego before we can be led to that state of awareness.

I am so glad I am getting to know someone I listen to quite often!
I love these podcasts so much!!! I also really like that they're only 20mins or so and still packed with great words.
I am grateful to have the freedom to worship God when so many others don't!
I'm grateful for my family and God idk where I would be without either one of them
