Cyan was one of my favourite, but as a person who suffers visual sensibility, this stage makes me feel so ill...I'm so deeply sorry for them, but even now, I can't watch their show again without suffering vertigo. Probably not great for epileptics. I don’t have epilepsy but I get nauseous from strobe lights and this made me nauseous so I assume it has a similar effect to strobe lights

The staging of this song is amazing. It is highly underrated in my opinion.
They had "bad luck" that The Rasmus participated in the same year. No chance you could win from such a legendary band despite the vocals from The Rasmus weren't that good live. Hope they stand a chance this year, but this song was honestly better in my opinion.
Number one from the first time I heard it. For me, the real winners.

The staging makes me a bit sick tbh lol. But yeah, this seems like a Blind Channel 2.0. It's quite good though and honestly deserved to win. The Rasmus were a bit off tonight.
I know The Rasmus since early 2000s, they already have fame, and their performance looked more like an interval act from a famous band. Cyan Kicks have more energy and potential. This song has Eurovision dancing vibes mixed with "Finnish traditional music" (if you know what I mean). They need ESC more. Anyway, thanks UMK for letting us know this band and this queen. I will follow them nevertheless, hope to see them performing live somewhere in the future. And it would be good to see you next year, guys, don't give up, "this hurricane won't stop".

Personally, I thought the background was cool but a bit different approach would have been better for people with visual sensibility. Maybe a hurricane in the background, some fireworks or something similar. But I really hope they will try again in future, they were indeed brilliant!

My favorite along with The Rasmus this evening. It felt damn good to see my top 2 in the UMK top 2 - especially after being disappointed with Sheldon beating Voyager earlier today. No hate to that guy tho, and good luck to both Australia and Finland.

Bändi voi olla tästä livevedosta kyllä todella ylpeä! Vaikka olinkin aika varma The Rasmuksen voitosta ja itsekin heitä lähettämässä Torinoon, käänsin tän esityksen jälkeen siinä mielessä kelkkani, että en äänestänytkään The Rasmusta vaan Cyan Kicksiä kymmenen kertaa 😄 Tykkäsin todella näistä visuaalisista elementeistä (ei häirinnyt omia silmiäni mitenkään), laulu kuulosti erinomaiselta ja kaikilla jäsenillä oli kova meininki! Musically speaking, this piece is an interesting upbeat combination of electric dance music and classical rock. In my opinion, the best performance of the UMK competition, though that's not saying much.

Siis pitäskö mun uskoo tää esiintyminen? Toi yhtäaikanen pomppufiilis-hyppiminen ja noiden kahen kitara/bassotyypin legit yhtäaikanen käsien heilutus? Ja mikä ihme tuo hiusten pyöritys yritys oli? Tuntu siltä et koko ajan paisto läpi joka ikinen pikku juttu jotka oli suunniteltu harjotuksissa, ei tuntunu esitykseltä. Eikä myöskään auttanu et laulaja oli aika heikko kohdissa joissa olis just tarvinnu sitä voimaa.
Mikähän on harjoitusten idea?
Jokanen esitys tuntu vaisulta ja huonosti tuotetulta omasta mielestä, esiintyjät ja biisit oli muuten ihan hyviä.
@@kimurantti3995 jos vertaa muiden maiden karsintoihin niin tuotanto todella korkealla tasolla. Ja löytyyhän UMK:n RUclipssta muistin virkistämiseksi noita muutaman vuoden takaisia omia karsintoja.
No nyt on kyllä sameinta kritiikkiä hetkeen 😂😂 Ihan perusasia, että viisuissa esitetään suunniteltu ja harjoiteltu esitys -- ei se ole mikään tavanomainen liveveto missään mielessä, vaan täytyy ajatella myös kameroita ja sitä, että esitys ei muutu toteutuskertojen välillä. Mun mielestä kaikki noi sun kritisoimat jutut oli tosi kivoja lisiä esitykseen. Ja ihan samaa suunnitelmallisuutta löytyi kaikkien muidenkin kisaajien vedoista. Nyt vaan kiinnostaa kovasti miten tää biisi ois sun mielestä kuulunut esittää? 🤔

Weeks later... I've tried listening to The Rasmus a lot and I just can't understand why this wasn't chosen instead. Without a doubt this is the better song by a long way. I'm actually quite disappointed in The Rasmus as they usually have quality music.
Could have also seen this being top 3 in the actual contest, The Rasmus however will probably be somewhere above the UK, that's all I can predict on that song.

@@tonyhawksproskater2406 Kind of and kind of not, when I saw how well Ukraine did then it only made sense that Ukraine's closest allies would get heavy points too, two songs at the top were very poor quality songs. If the contest was judged on song quality Ukraine and UK would have been rock bottom.

This is for me a very basic rock song which sounds still amazing imo. If it was about stagings this one would definetly have won. Her vocals are amazing. And this deserved to win as much as The Rasmus did ngl.
