The folk instrumentation is so spot on/ethereal and instantly transports me to Chichén Itzá and conjures up images of swirling feathered serpents. This is MASSIVE. This hits home for me, I am in LOVE with this. So curious to see where this project travels to in the future.
I'm at loss for words. I'm a solefald fan so having Lazare on board got me curious. What do I get A voyage through Mayan death! This is absolutely magnificent. Blut Aus Nord frontman is onboard this trip in the past that is so well crafted, so well mixed, incorporating real elements of music that truly evoke the past Mayan culture. And what can i say about the intro!! Wow! It becomes an opener to a scenery like no other. Amazing album, more than an amazing band, this is a revelation! it's fresh, it's my number one album of 2023 without a doubt, not that my opinion matters, cause it does not but nonetheless. Who said black metal was dead? it travels through time! Ha ha! I just ordered the album!!
I kept getting Borknagar vibes and was just blown away by the music. I knew I recognized that voice, but I didn't pinpoint it. This is absolutely amazing. I just randomly stopped here because I liked the band logo and cover art.

I had my curiosity triggered with all the teasing and snippets and everything about this project for a good year but honestly, I did not expect it to be THIS good, holy crap. This is probably my fav album of 2023. Was waiting to hear the whole thing first before ordering the LP but no point in waiting anymore

A complex musical exercise, an amazing amalgamation of Metal and Nesoamerican Folk music. Not everyone can understand this effort properly.

Sacr is the main composer and wishes to remain anonymous (for the time being at least) but he never played in a known band before.
