There was criticism of Postecoglou when he was appointed to Brisbane Roar, he won. Criticism when appointed as Australian Manager, won Asian Cup and qualified team to two World Cups. Criticism when he was appointed at Yokohama, club won the league for the firsr time in 15 years. Criticism when he moved to Celtic, turned around a 25 point deficit from the season before and personally recruited 17 new players and won 2 trophies, this season on the verge of a treble. Ange was only criticise by the Scottish media. Celtic fans didn’t criticise him. Questioned what appeared to be a cheap option, but immediately got behind him.
Didn’t overturn a 25 point deficit because the league started at 0 points. Celtic had the worst season in 30 years, but it started fresh when Ange took over. He fixed the problems and won the league.

He is a better manager than Spurs fans and the media give him credit for, he's EXACTLY what Spurs need (whether our fans are too delusional to see it or not), and yes, his ambition will temp him, but while you're on such a good run, why would he consider such a mess of a club? @Patrick Neylon Yeah, he can't sack him from being one of the owners but the board could vote him out as chairman. I know enic are all about money but I'd have thought Spurs at least have to be in Europe for them to get the most profit out of the club, if they're a long-time without making any progress surely they'll have to look at the job he's doing and there's all the Levy out messages at the moment which hopefully haven't gone unnoticed. I'd like just to see a change of attitude from the board, not about how much they spend but just signing more of the type of players the manager wants and give him time, frustrating watching good players like Spence not playing cos the manager didn't want him. Even if it's not the exact guy the manager wanted, at least has to be the type of player(s) he wants.

If I was a Spurs fan I'd be happy about him coming to the club, success may not come straight away as Spurs are a mess atm and Ange may need time to implement his desired playing style but Postecoglu is certain to work hard and you'd like to think that will galvanise supporters and kick the club on further. I've been a Celtic fan for 40 years and I've never seen a turnaround this good, he's the best manager I've seen and plays the most exciting football. The 64 million pound Ivory Smile as Simon calls him had already won in Germany and reached a Champions League Final. He also got to the UEFA Cup final in his first season, despite ultimately losing. Spurs have had 4 Managers in the time Klopp has been at Liverpool. That's down to Levy firing them as much as Conte wanting off. A Good Owner backs a good Manager. Don't even try comparing Spurs to Liverpool as there is no comparison.

Framing Levy as the victim during the Conte era is laughable at best. Why has Levy pushed for such a manager when his DoF suggested otherwise? If he’s too afraid to work along side Conte, why continue? If we have known since November that he was likely leaving at the end of the season, why are we no closer to a new manager now? Tie it up in whatever pretty bow you’d like Simon, Levy is responsible for the majority of blame in this situation. I’m tired of Simon “evening the score” when the blame is not equal here.

You have had world class managers at the helm but still isn’t enough for you. Doesn’t lead you anywhere except getting worst every single time.
Just have patience and accept that you are not good enough at the moment in all aspects. Don’t expect for success to come immediately. Build from the ground up and just trust the process even if it takes several seasons. Don’t focus on others. Just focus on yourself. This is the only way.

It's the only issue over the past two years with Ange, he was inexperienced in Europe and we couldn't make progress, had some good moments but struggled a lot in big European games. One more season, have a proper go at the CL and possibly europa league then go to the Prem. There will be other, better jobs down south in a years time.

Too many top coaches have been treated shittily, from Jol, to Poc, to Mourinho and Conte and word gets around. The club has a certain dubious reputation. That tells you one thing - the only person who should be rightly sacked and replaced is Daniel Levy.

He turned Celtic from their lowest to the heights of champions league playing fast attacking football and if taking there chances against the best team in the world Real Madrid. With the quality Celtic have was never a match against the CL winners but with a team like Spurs who inherit hundreds of millions of dollars a season i could see them winning the league in 3 years. Id hate to see him go but will be very exciting to watch him in the best league in the world. If he goes to Spurs they will be lucky to have him. "We never stop" 🍀🍀🍀

I think he could do a great job at Spurs but i think for a long time there now, the chairman, dof, and the managers installed there are more often than not on a different page. For a manager to be successful there needs to be a plan and everyone following it.
With Postecoglu if Levy was going to employ him he should know the tactics he's gonna use and bring in the kind of players he needs to implement his style of play. Assuming it would be a 4-2-3-1 and Kane stays another season, he could be the number 10 behind Richarlison with Son & Kulusevski out wide. Would need another CB to play along side Romero, a new goalkeeper as Lloris is well past his best, a new LB, i think Royal or Spence could actually do for RB with the inverted fullbacks he likes to utilise & probably need a real rugged DM to play in the centre with Bentancur. Wouldnt need to be super expensive players just some good energetic players with potential and a lot of hunger.
