I'm a Rangers fan and I literally laughed out loud when celtic appointed him. How wrong was I?!!
Excellent manager and can spot a player. You must work hard or you're out. His teams are also so attacking......I'll be glad to see the back of him, in a nice way of course 😅
Was a disaster for Rangers that he could pick up cheap players, hopefully with a settled manager now rangers win it next season.
Fair play mate luv the honesty
You can afford to be all attacking in the SPL, not a very good league at all
@@Enicthefrauds the quicker we join a european super league the better ,wish they would hurry up with it ,the league is rubbish
@@Enicthefrauds You actually cant, you can take your time about the attack but if you over commit those teams always have sharp and fast counters to remind you of what you should be doing
There was criticism of Postecoglou when he was appointed to Brisbane Roar, he won. Criticism when appointed as Australian Manager, won Asian Cup and qualified team to two World Cups. Criticism when he was appointed at Yokohama, club won the league for the firsr time in 15 years. Criticism when he moved to Celtic, turned around a 25 point deficit from the season before and personally recruited 17 new players and won 2 trophies, this season on the verge of a treble. The man is a serial winner.
He has always turned haters into fans
Ange was only criticise by the Scottish media. Celtic fans didn’t criticise him. Questioned what appeared to be a cheap option, but immediately got behind him.
Didn’t overturn a 25 point deficit because the league started at 0 points. Celtic had the worst season in 30 years, but it started fresh when Ange took over. He fixed the problems and won the league.
@Derek Cheers Derek 🏆🏆🏆🍀
How many teams in 2 years with celtic has he beat that the other team was favourites to win or from one of the top leagues zero he’s one dimensional and he won’t get away with that in EPL
@Michael Crooks Postecoglou is waiting for a decent club like Man City or Liverpool. He won't be managing Tottenham, they're shite.
Im a Rangers fan and im sick of these guys slagging Ange off. When he came in at Celtic all my friends who support tht club wanted him gone after the first few games. I challenged them to go and watch his team in Japan and they will absolutely change their minds. None of them did but not 3 months later he was the best thing since sliced bread! This guy is one of the best up and coming managers there is and he is exactly what Spurs need. If he goes there watch football they end up playing, im talking as a suffering Gers fan.
I don’t support Celtic either but I agree with everything this rangers fan is saying 👏👏 well said sir 👏👏
Spurs fans are not getting wet over SPL titles or the others you mentioned that's the way it is and his European excursions have been diabolical.
@@chrisdee1583 his european excursions with Celtic you mean? His first season in the champions league with them? And your basing his abilities on thst? Tell me have u researched his feats in Japan? Yes its the J league but the team he managed had one of the lowest budgets in the league, and yet he still beat the team with the highest budget to the title! It doesnt matter what league you are in, if u can achieve that youve got something about you. Although if youre a spurs fan you could be right, theytre utter horse piss and youll have more chance of resurrecting Bill Nick than you have of winning the PL.
@@Wearethewingmakers Aye of course I mean his European excursions with Celtic 🤣 I'm a Rangers fan hilarious how folk like yourself just load into presumptuous comments.Where else in Europe would he be KO'd from?🤣🤣🤣

Here as a Spurs fan, everyone talks about the great recruitment Brighton have done including their managers. I wonder how many of these "Fans" know that Ange was their first choice ahead of De Zerbie. He turned them down because he didnt want to leave Celtic mid season.
He's going to be terrible. I am absolutely buzzing spurs will be having another bad season next season 😂😂😂😂😂

He has won an Asian Cup coaching Australian national team, the only AFC title for Australia. How many current PL managers have managed an International team to a continental Championship?
Not a Celtic fan but the difference between Celtic before he took over and after is enormous. Most of the players attribute this to his demands on them. Theyre fitter, stronger and far harder working than ive ever seen them. This is exactly what spurs need.

Ange is an absolute monster of a manager. Has the potential to be immense.
Monster of a manager that couldn't even beat Bodo/Glimt 😂
@Wolfgang 57 isn't old, mature and experienced but not a dinosaur.
@Wolfgang Klopp is almost the same age at 55. Is he sooo old?
@@TheRealist2024 Neither did Mourinho, he got pumped 6-1first time they met Bodo. as for Tottenham, Do you remember NS Mura? As for Ange, i sincerely hope he tells Tottereringham, no thanks, your set up is looking like a train wreck. If Pep Guardiola thinks he is a top 10 ten coach in the world, that should be plenty good enough for most teams. He coached at one of Man City's ownership's teams in Japan, i think Pep might have insight.
@@TheRealist2024 bodo beat mourinhos roma 6-1, just admit you only watch the PL and don't have a clue what your talking about, ange is an immense manager.
I'd take him. My mate is a Celtic fan and said he's a phenomenal manager and would be gutted if he left. He also said he had no idea who he was before, was not happy he was appointed at Celtic, then ate his words like all the Celtic fans have. I reckon he's worth a go.
Simon Jordan talks so much sense. Media whips up a story that isn’t always there and he fights back against their narrative. Always a pleasure to listen to
He sacked 3 managers he picked and 2 left him because they couldn't work with him in 3 years. Public school debating techniques have got MPs, Morgan and Jordan to dizzy heights.
He’s brilliant no crap with him
Hit the nail on the head - I think this is why Simon gets so much praise. I would assume the majority of listeners are less educated than Simon and therefore mesmerised by his language and speech. However he has major flaws and two of them is his clear bias for Daniel Levy and his anti Eddie Hearn narrative. I do not think he is any better than most of the pundits on here aside from the very worst who are O'Hara and Gabby. He is far from God.
Simon sounds smart by gullible folks
I would love this move to be inevitable, but as a long time Aussie Spurs fan, I can't see Ange giving up such a good thing at a club like Celtic. He is a better manager than Spurs fans and the media give him credit for, he's EXACTLY what Spurs need (whether our fans are too delusional to see it or not), and yes, his ambition will temp him, but while you're on such a good run, why would he consider such a mess of a club? I'll keep my fingers crossed though. Spurs fans don't realise how much he would transform this club for the better.
He's been successful everywhere he's been and the football his teams play suits what Spurs fans used to expect. He's the kind of guy could bring back those values that are missing since Poch left. He has to be backed by the board and Levy though, if they're not on the same page as him, sign the kind of players he wants, etc then it won't work out and the Spurs owners should look at getting rid of Levy.
Hes not turning down a bigger club, if spurs come in he's going.
@@fourlights lol . bigger club
@@jimmynich4791 Joe Lewis will not get rid of Levy, he's delighted with him as he makes him tons of cash.. That's all they care about. Plus Levy owns 30% of the club.
@Patrick Neylon Yeah, he can't sack him from being one of the owners but the board could vote him out as chairman. I know enic are all about money but I'd have thought Spurs at least have to be in Europe for them to get the most profit out of the club, if they're a long-time without making any progress surely they'll have to look at the job he's doing and there's all the Levy out messages at the moment which hopefully haven't gone unnoticed. I'd like just to see a change of attitude from the board, not about how much they spend but just signing more of the type of players the manager wants and give him time, frustrating watching good players like Spence not playing cos the manager didn't want him. Even if it's not the exact guy the manager wanted, at least has to be the type of player(s) he wants.
I think he'd be great for Spurs. He's not just won things with Celtic, he's got them playing an exciting, attacking brand of football.
It’s probably harder not to win trophies than to win trophies in that league, they have no competition
@@bobricks9380 But what more can he do than win almost everything since he's been there and in style. What's your point?

Replace Levy and Spurs could be Everton . Simon just dosent get lost in the bullshit
And we will be Everton next season with levy 💜💛💜💛💜 till the club is sold
@@81Fitzerz if the clubwas ever sold it would go to multi billionaires who would invest
He defends Levy because he was an owner himself and he knows all the bullshit is thrown at the owners when a team doesn’t do well - look at Man U and Arsenal for instance - the owners interests are aligned with those of the fans - they all want the team to win trophies - the owners main responsibilities are to hire a good HC and Head of Football and make sure they can work together well - he also has to provide decent levels of financial support to pay for the playing and coaching staff - Levy has certainly hired top level Coaches and except for eighteen months when the new ground was being finished he has provided good money to hire new players - the obvious problem Levy has had is that his HC and HofF have clearly not worked well together - the evidence just stares you in the face - we have wasted so much money on buying players that have then been unable to hold down a first team place that it beggars belief - we have been desperate for new defenders for the last four seasons but continually buy midfield or forward players - Conte even questioned some of the purchases like Spence but everyone just ignored him
Defending Levy or giving a balanced point of view?
I really hope Ange doesn't go to Spurs as he is a decent man, Daniel £evy isn't.
Simon is bang on. He took the time to read about Postecoglou he has football running through his veins. He was a great friend and was mentored by Puskas who we all know has a football award named after him I really like the guy.
Asking the wrong question guys, the question is, Is tottenham the right side for his career?
No it's not.
Trying to clean up the mess at spurs is a terrible career move for someone like Ange. He’s a fantastic manager, but avoid Spurs like the plague
he will win just as many trophies as the rest of their managers in the last 15 years
🙄 Oh you, you’re such a wit.
Only because spurs arent spending like Man city and newcastle.

Jurgen Klopp was also a winner before he show up at Liverpool tho Simon unlike Brendan Rodgers or Roy Hogston. That's way Liverpool fans including myself got behind Klopp and his project it was all about timing and it got us what we wanted challenging at elite table again.
Klopp told the media he’ll win the premiership within 5 years and they called him a clown. This Spurs manager hasn’t got the balls to say I’ll win a trophy for this club within 3 years.

Postecoglu is a fantastic manager. If I was a Spurs fan I'd be happy about him coming to the club, success may not come straight away as Spurs are a mess atm and Ange may need time to implement his desired playing style but Postecoglu is certain to work hard and you'd like to think that will galvanise supporters and kick the club on further. The question is will he be given time at Spurs? I guess that's the case with most of the EPL clubs though. Granted they are a big club and if he goes it would be the biggest club an old firm manager had left for since Souness went to Liverpool back in the early 90s. Given that - I think he will move on. If he doesn't then he won't leave Celtic for a very long time.
Everyone goes on about Scotland being a 2 team league. I’d argue most leagues in the world are similar. I’d even argue that England is a 1 team league at the moment with Man City.

Just to correct you on one point. Ange did NOT get Australia to the knockout stage of the World Cup. Two managers did that: Guus Hiddink in 2006 and Graham Arnold in 2022. The Socceroos lost all 3 pool games in 2014 under Ange, even though they played a terrific game against The Netherlands. I say this as a huge fan of Ange.

@@troyoro ??? They've never competed in Europe for years and years, one off grudge matches against the English every now and again is all Celtic can muster up.....A Man City would destroy Celtic.....hope Newcastle get them this year
@@thumpertoon76man city that Celtic drew home and away with? Go back to sleep
@Sean Spokes Scaffolding Specialist mate Man City would beat anybody that's an unfair comparison. I'm not saying they'll destroy in the Champions league I'm just saying they'll do much better than last time around as Ange has more experience now. Please don't put words in my mouth buddy
I don’t support Celtic but ange postecoglou has transformed them and I tell you he will make spurs a far better outfit he has an idea of a big market and I think he would make them an exciting team to watch again
Just my opinion
Ange won't go unless it's on his terms, otherwise he won't be able to introduce success. This would mean alot of support from Levy including moving players on and bring suitable players in. In terms of staff, Ange doesn't really care he is proven working with whats there so that is a bonus to any club.
I’m honestly not sure if Ange would go from a massive club like Celtic to a smaller club like Tottenham.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ffs sober up mate
Couple of easy bites here 😂 But seriously Spurs are a smaller club even Bent said it. Ffs your lot have been a laughing stock in English football over the years!
This guy will transform Spurs into title challengers, no doubt about it.
Ange won 2nd grade in Japan and ThURD grade in Australia and Scotland,so what qualifies him for a chance in the EPL?...a total gamble by Spurs(not by Celtic).
What grade is the World Cup? And taking a crap Australian team to their first continental title. Beating son’s South Korea in the final.
Well done.
Not too many show off their total ignorance and lack of knowledge on football.
Remind us all here, how many English managers are ahead of him on the points table? Or any others at this point?

Got it!
Again, well done for showing everyone how little you know about football!
Out of curiosity, who really ties up your shoelaces every morning?
I really don't want him to go to Spurs. I want him for West Ham - encapsulates the West Ham way like not too many others
Why would he go to a bunch of also rans
Ange getting defended by rangers fans tells you something within itself, love him in PL, but not spurs their shite
Of course they are not shite
@Colin Morgan mate they are shite! And Kane will walk anyway.
Love Simon Jordan pulling Matterface up on continuously saying “Spurs are being turned down by everyone”, then contradicting himself by saying “Spurs turned down Luis Enrique, how can they do that?!” Any reason to take a dig at Spurs.
Clear as day that there’s an agenda.
STOP INTERRUPTING SIMON EVERY 5 SECONDS. THANKS!
Exactly he was making some extremely good points
I thought it was the other way around😂
Bring Ange now... There's something about this geezer. You can see it in his eyes. He is the diamond in the rough we've been looking for.
Get jim back in, this fella is annoying, keeps interrupting Simon
He’s just annoying
Could do a good job, Rodgers did when he left Celtic for Leicester
But I do hope he does not come back 😭⚽
Considering how disliked by the public that Sam Matterface is, why is he even in a broadcasting job? terrible.
Spurs need to rollover 75% of the roster regardless who is the next Mgr and whatever his formations, tactics & shape
What do you think he did at Celtic, he’s not afraid to get rid of Prima donna’s and his recruitment is terrific. Would be great to see what he could do with a bigger budget , but I would hate to see him go to Spurs, one more yr at Celtic and another crack at the CL
He has been really really first class as our manager and top bloke he would be a great move for Spurs
Spurs fans don't realise how good he is. Ange is a proper manager with so much experience, mixing modern attacking football with old skool know-how. He makes players 'want' to play for him, they all want to impress him and he's incredible with the media. Even rival fans applaud him and respect him. I've been a Celtic fan for 40 years and I've never seen a turnaround this good, he's the best manager I've seen and plays the most exciting football. Give it a couple of months though, players need to fully buy into it and forget their old habits! In Ange we trust.
Is Simon Levys lawyer? He defends him like he's on a retainer...Levy makes shite footballing decisions it's that simple Simon..
You don’t have a clue, he’s won in every country he’s managed in, not just Celtic…
@Kye Douglas Lost to Bodo/glit in the europa.
Guys a mug.
@@HdHd-hp6qz ah yes one result defines a manager
The 64 million pound Ivory Smile as Simon calls him had already won in Germany and reached a Champions League Final. He also got to the UEFA Cup final in his first season, despite ultimately losing. Spurs have had 4 Managers in the time Klopp has been at Liverpool. That's down to Levy firing them as much as Conte wanting off. A Good Owner backs a good Manager. Don't even try comparing Spurs to Liverpool as there is no comparison.

The Man Above Wouldn't win a Trophy At Tottenham..
Levy is the problem at Tottenham.
Framing Levy as the victim during the Conte era is laughable at best. Why has Levy pushed for such a manager when his DoF suggested otherwise? If he’s too afraid to work along side Conte, why continue? If we have known since November that he was likely leaving at the end of the season, why are we no closer to a new manager now? Tie it up in whatever pretty bow you’d like Simon, Levy is responsible for the majority of blame in this situation. I’m tired of Simon “evening the score” when the blame is not equal here.
A 2 tier league in Scotland? Just like the one team league in England then. Manchester City have won it 5 seasons out of the last 6
No idiot the PL is not a one team league, anyone can beat anyone in the PL, Man City have dominated the title but anyone can finish anywhere in the league and the quality is much higher, the Scottish league is ALWAYS gonna be Rangers/Celtic and hasn't changed in 40/50 years.
@@thefivepoints who has won the league 5 seasons out of the last 6? Who has all the financial resources. Not much difference really
Simon Jordan answered the other guy perfectly. Owned completely 😁👍🏼✅
Journalists like Jim White and Sam Matterface embody everything bad about football. Everything is sensationalised and I love it when Simon sticks it to them both!
You muppet. They have to play devils advocate otherwise to keep the conversations going. Find me a program where the host and the guests all agree with one another about everything. It's a tactic to keep the conversation going and see things from both sides.
@Bison Jones Yes, obviously I know that's true but only to a certain extent. You can tell that when Simon questions the media, Jim and Sam get visibility defensive. There are some things they clearly disagree about
Simon is bang on here. "exciting young manager" is less about age and more a synonym for "forward thinking, modern manager". and Ange, despite his age, is exactly that.
He lost to Sydney fc and Lampards Everton, and spurs want him 😂
Pep lost games to Ole…must be such a terrible manager, Pep. 🤡
@@williamedwardsantiago but ole wouldn't lose to a sydney team that has Jack Rodwell

@@williamedwardsantiago all those teams are 100 times better than Sydney FC lol big Ange is not the man for spurs lol it's not hard to do well at Celtic
Talksport and Sky said the same last week about Slot. Last Friday in fact so you’ve had a full week to come up with this. Both differing stories I might add. We don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Easiest thing to do is keep your traps shut and if it happens you can all pat yourselves on the back
Just give whoever is coming in the time that he expects to deliver a target that can be agreed by him and the board. Stop sacking all your managers prematurely.
You have had world class managers at the helm but still isn’t enough for you. Doesn’t lead you anywhere except getting worst every single time.
Just have patience and accept that you are not good enough at the moment in all aspects. Don’t expect for success to come immediately. Build from the ground up and just trust the process even if it takes several seasons. Don’t focus on others. Just focus on yourself. This is the only way.
I agree, managers don't get enough time now and there's a fair bit of work to do at Spurs. Needs to be a balance of academy players, signings with potential and experienced players who can help bring the youth on, can't just keep throwing money at it signing expensive flops hoping it'll work.
Hear, hear!
I find it incredible when they are saying these mangers are turning them down when it's media fantasy, no one outside the Tottenham board know. Conte basically sacked himself and they could have appointment a manager till the end of the season but surely if you want long term, give them a pre season and get some players in that they want
Long term Man U and Celtic supporter. As an Aussie I knew he was a very good manager but he wouldn’t take crap from anyone. He’s been sensational at Celtic and I expect he would improve Spurs. He’s that good people. If he goes to Spurs I’ll support them as my second EPL team because of Ange.
I think he should stay with us one more year, challenge himself in Europe with Celtic. It's the only issue over the past two years with Ange, he was inexperienced in Europe and we couldn't make progress, had some good moments but struggled a lot in big European games. One more season, have a proper go at the CL and possibly europa league then go to the Prem. There will be other, better jobs down south in a years time.
if he leaves then it just proves that celtic cant hold onto their managers
The Spurs board are all successes in business , but there's not one football person there in the meetings , to offer advice .
If the Celtic boss has any sense he will stay clear of White Hart lane. The very close knit manager network won't touch Spurs now! Too many top coaches have been treated shittily, from Jol, to Poc, to Mourinho and Conte and word gets around. The club has a certain dubious reputation. That tells you one thing - the only person who should be rightly sacked and replaced is Daniel Levy.
Postecoglou to Spurs could be another Gerrard to Villa
I wouldn't be quitting your day job to take up professional football predictions, sunshine.
Cheers.
Just give the Greek Aussie a go, as long as he gets free REIGN, and no bullshit from levy trying to keep hold of dier Sanchez and Davis for ANOTHER 3 years 😡😡.
Ange is a class act, a serial winner, and a smart guy, he'll want to do things his own way, and I don't think he'll be given the same freedom at Spurs as he has at Celtic
He is ambitious, but I don't think Spurs is the right club for him, so he'll stay at Celtic
He’s a great manager for spurs 🏆🏆🏆👑😎
As i Celtic fan for 34 years I've never been happier with a manager then i am with Ange Postecoglou. He turned Celtic from their lowest to the heights of champions league playing fast attacking football and if taking there chances against the best team in the world Real Madrid. With the quality Celtic have was never a match against the CL winners but with a team like Spurs who inherit hundreds of millions of dollars a season i could see them winning the league in 3 years. Id hate to see him go but will be very exciting to watch him in the best league in the world. If he goes to Spurs they will be lucky to have him. "We never stop" 🍀🍀🍀
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the heights of the champions league,, 🇬🇧🇬🇧 he fkn shat it cause he knew the rangers are coming
They certainly stopped in Europe 😂
Simon has a different standard for Postecoglou than he did for Gerard despite similar CVs
Similar CV’s !! Ange has been managing for 25 years.
@@jase77. i was facepalming also.
Similar CV's? What? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was wrong
I think he could do a great job at Spurs but i think for a long time there now, the chairman, dof, and the managers installed there are more often than not on a different page. For a manager to be successful there needs to be a plan and everyone following it.
With Postecoglu if Levy was going to employ him he should know the tactics he's gonna use and bring in the kind of players he needs to implement his style of play. Assuming it would be a 4-2-3-1 and Kane stays another season, he could be the number 10 behind Richarlison with Son & Kulusevski out wide. Would need another CB to play along side Romero, a new goalkeeper as Lloris is well past his best, a new LB, i think Royal or Spence could actually do for RB with the inverted fullbacks he likes to utilise & probably need a real rugged DM to play in the centre with Bentancur. Wouldnt need to be super expensive players just some good energetic players with potential and a lot of hunger.
I don’t want him, Did not want the last 3 manages, we will see.
Sam Matterface you say spurs aren’t a top 6 club anymore, So I assume the same goes for Chelsea then finishing 12th I take it ? The last 18 years spurs have finished in the top 6 14 times 🤫 regardless of that big changes needed at Tottenham Levy and Enic out
Please stay Ange. Would be a revelation at Spurs if given time. A special manager
What klopp did for Liverpool would be hard to find in modern club ownership/manager partnership. The turnover of managers gets shorter and shorter every season if results don’t come quick enough
Have been watching him since he started with Brisbane roar f,,b,c one of the most under rated coaches if they let him do it his way spurs will do very well.
Any manager that comes to spurs isn’t going to win a trophy
Only if he brings the Celtic trophy cabinet with him.
Tottenham Won more European trophies than arsenal Newcastle and man city put together LOL
