Thank you!! I didn't want people looking at me like I'm the one who scammed them. This company has some explaining to do because this was on their website, not a fake website.
Thank you, Delilah, for this. I received an email from someone named Bonnie King but ended with JMAC Lending instead of Bonnie King's information. I'm getting tired of this. Thanks again, my dear!
You're welcome! Bonnie should've explained how a fraudulent job was successfully posted on their official website. It's the least she could do. I have questions.
I also received an email from Bonnie King about this fraudulent job. I'm tired of this too. It really frustrates and angers me that scammers find it ok to do this crap. SMH
me too - have you had any problems or viruses since you opened the email? I'm afraid to open it and read it, but I see the mail in my inbox with the name Bonnie King.
Delilah I know this is not your fault and I watch your videos daily as I try to find a WFH job!! however, I got an email for the Data Entry and the Data Analyst position I applied for with them through their company website and said to "monitor my accounts" to make sure I wasn't compromised. I'm SHOCKED. I just sent back a very professional (but angry) email asking what the company plans to do to make all of the applicants whole because it is the COMPANY'S responsibility to ensure that our data is safe in this situation not the applicants. So I guess I am looking into what a class action lawsuit is now......
Exactly!! They didn't live up to their responsibility to keep applicants' data safe. They're a mortgage lending company at that! They need to do more than tell people to monitor their accounts!
Hey, I received the same email, and I'm beyond frustrated with companies nit keeping my personal information safe. I sent them an email as well asking what else they are doing on their apart to protect us from here on out. With the class action lawsuit, I know everyone involved will have to come together at some point to get the ball moving. Please keep me updated, and I'll definitely do my part. Thank you
Thank you, Delilah, for addressing this important issue, You are not responsible and we do not blame you for this! Thank you so much for your help every day we appreciate you!
You did your due diligence in the content provided. No need to apologize. People use social media all the time from everywhere. At some point, while technology is continuing to enhance, scammers will continue to scam and find ways to deceive. Data breaches will continue to happen because of a number of factors, including: Increasing data supply, Third-party breaches, Weak passwords, Underreporting, and Hackers who are motivated by money. I have used your content and recommendations and yes I have been hired by a legit company that you recommended. Enjoy your family and the holiday season and continue the much needed content!!!! :)
Hi Michelle! I had to clear my good name. 1200+ jobs and 0 scams. I plan to keep it that way! There's something going on with this company's website. I believe it was breached (allegedly). I'm not going to be silent about my subscribers, or anyone, getting scammed!!
Thanks for breaking down how you check to see if the jobs are legit. I have been scammed numerous times within these last 2 months. I even sent my DL to one application. This is crazy. I really want a job. Never the less I won’t give up. Thanks again for teaching me how to verify. Most of the time I google then call the company. Now I know I need to do more. Sorry for the rant thanks a bunches.
I'm glad this video was helpful, Lynda! That's exactly what I wanted the takeaway to be - how to verify these companies. Sorry you've been scammed multiple times, but you're going up from here!! Don't give up!
See if your banking institution has free credit monitoring and sign up asap. I’d also put a credit freeze on my credit. If our information is out there, there’s no telling when and how many times it will be sold
I received a text message also email about this job scam 😢 this is really sad 😔 everyone putting personal information out and now these things tend to keep happening breaks my heart
Don’t be discouraged. This is a new one! Of the 1200+ jobs I’ve posted, a company has never had this happen. This was on their official website. They didn’t protect your data (allegedly).
What should we do now that they have our info? I didn’t give my ss # but I’m wondering what can they do with my full info, address, email, home address Definitely discouraged… been looking for remote work for 2 years and nothing…. Now a scam? 🙁
Don't give up! This is a new one. They're responsible. This was posted on their website. I'd reply to their email and ask how they're going to make things right.
The same thing happened to me with this job opening. I did some internet research and figured it was a scam. Thank you Delilah! You are great at what you do, and I will continue to trust you. Things happen, unfortunately. People can be so nasty!
It is impossible to see this coming.; these scammers are slick and there are so many of them. Plus, we are all tired - I know I am, Thank you for posting these leads.
Thank you! I wouldn’t be so pressed for answers if this was an oversight on my part. But this was on their official website. If we can’t trust the company’s official website, what can we trust?
You shouldnt have to worry about these sort of things with a reputable company. Thanks for being transparent and sharing. You've proven to provide value, This is definitely insightful and something we all should be aware of.
Thanks, I received an email from the company which was extremely nice stating the job posting was incorrect. And my data may have been leaked. You are one of the first websites I go to when looking for a job. Thanks for sharing and helping. I really appreciate your support encouragement and feedback
They sent me an email about it. My daughter got scammed about it saying they pay $35-40 an hour. I was like didn’t the link come from Dahlia? What’s the update?
I have a theory (that I can't prove) that the "job" was a likely ghost job that JMAC didn't expect to get so much traction from and the "scammer" talk is just a very bad cover up strategy. They would've been better off saying "the "job" is filled already" like the others do.
Here's the thing, if it was a ghost job, it'd be no harm for them to just close the lead and stop accepting applications. A ghost job can be excused by saying we don't need to hire for that position anymore - happens all the time. No big deal. That's why I think it's deeper than that and why they tried to do damage control because they admitted "something" happened, but gave no specifics. No one in their right mind is going to make a small situation bigger than what it is. Saying something fraudulent happened is them trying to get ahead of potential major fall out should people's accounts become compromised. That's why it's looking like a data breach (allegedly).
Thank you for addressing this as I got that same email but they changed the name of the company to a healthcare company (my resume is nothing but healthcare industry related jobs). It’s not your fault. I’ve been using your resources for years to assist with various second full time or part time jobs. I was going to respond to the email JMAC sent claiming this was unauthorized last night at 10:56 pm. Also seems odd to email that late. All of us affected should consider legal action as a group, IMO, and not for money but to force them to come clean and be open about it AND provide a year minimum of credit monitoring. I appreciate all you do and all you’ve done in the past to help me continue on my financial goals.
Thank you! Yes to all of this!! A year MINIMUM of credit monitoring is the least they could do because this was in their official website. I'd respond to the email asking how they're going to fix this.
Thank you Delilah for addressing this💜👏🏽. I had to repost, but this indeed has caused a concern for me. I never once felt you were responsible, and everything you stated made perfect sense to me. Those who are expected to protect their applicant's information should do more to protect all who are affected and concerned about their privacy being in the hands of scammers. The email I received came in the wee hours of the morning. It felt very cold and expressed no empathy in my opinion whatsoever. No form of contact was listed to take questions or express concerns. It was just as you stated, well this is what happened, and you deal with it type of vibe. I just want to thank you again for all you do. Those of us that follow and watch your channel know you're a person of integrity. I wish a support group can be formed for all applicants affected, and some course of legal action be pursued to receive accommodation to the highest extent due to their negligence. Just notifying people in a mass email and not offering a solution or comfort other than to monitor your information, is not acceptable.
You have been and still most definitely are now and forever the one and only remote specialist that I watch and respect! You are the best and most trusted!!!
I'm new to your channel and trust you more for your frustration about the companies lack of concern and transparency. We appreciate how you so intricately pointed out how the company was breached and how you did your due diligence to provide a reputable job opportunity... Hopefully, the company sees this video and feels ashamed that they didn't acknowledge the situation on their website before you... There's always time to take accountability and the time is now!!
Interesting, I haven't received that email as of yet. I also tried to "withdraw" my application and it said it can't be withdrawn when under consideration.
Wow. That means they didn't bother notifying everyone. Or it's a deep issue affecting so many people, that they haven't gotten around to emailing everyone, yet.
Hi Delilah! Thanks for talking about this. We know you’re always making sure everything is legit. I applied to that one and they sent me that email as well
Sorry this happened. It's out of your control but I understand you needing to clear things up for your reputation. I'm still following you and trust you.
I knew i wasn't going crazy! I had received a email and I knew something right. However, they listed a different company name but it was for the same position. Once I hovered over the name "Kerry miller" and looked at the email, it was absolutely a spam email. In their signature they didn't leave a email, phone number or anything. 🤦🏿♀️ it's ridiculous that people are really out here doing everything they can to take from those who are trying to provide for themselves and their families.
Yes! I received the Kerry Miller email, too. Supposedly, a recruiter wanting to meet for an interview. I checked out the company name and the signature in the email and felt something was off. Neither was legit. I was wondering how a scammer could get my email if I have only applied on company websites.
Well thanks for letting us know about this misunderstanding and to me that lets me know that you are one of the few people who has respect and integrity towards your followers.
No, seriously Thank you! You are truly the best that is available for finding remote jobs! I totally admire and trust you!! Happy Thanksgiving! I live just over the Georgia South Carolina border in Oconee County, SC! ❤
Thank you, Beth!! It's beautiful up there! I used to travel to that area for work all the time back in my insurance days. Have a happy Thanksgiving!! 💚
This video just reconfirms that you are still the same vigilant business woman that we've always known, and you're not slipping.. that company is sleeping on the job, and data was breached. Even you going back and showing us step by step link by link what went wrong on their end just proves that you know your stuff and you are on point. I don't know why, but this situation actually made me trust you more. 🤷🏽 Keep up the great work you are doing in the community ma'am. ❤
Thank you, Audra! I'm filming in front of my buffet that use for storage. I have so many cords and gadgets, it's the most aesthetic way to store and hide everything lol.
You are the best at this! I didn't even see the other video, but I know from my own experience how hard it is to filter out the scammers. I've joined other sites that haven't done half the research you do. The big name job sites post scammers all the time and they have plenty of resources/options to make sure that doesn't happen. I really enjoy your videos. I think even bigger things are gonna happen for you. This is just something that'll help your channel to rise above the rest. Look at how you went Sherlock Holmes/Investigate Reporter!! From the impression I get, I could see this being a "negative" that you turn into a maximum positive. Even your speaking voice and demeanor - you really do stand out. Best of luck in all you do!
Delilah, I very much appreciate that you made this video and did your due diligence to show how JMAC Lending is in the wrong here. This is absolutely crazy and super frustrating that this sort of thing is even going on. I applaud you for speaking out about this and hope that this will not tarnish your reputation. I think this video actually will help viewers like me feel even more assured that you work hard to do your part to provide us with legit, quality job leads. Hope this brings you even more trust! Hmm, this seems to suggest to me one of two things: Either a dishonest, shameful employee at JMAC Lending is the one pulling this scam from the inside, in which case he/she should be caught and fired at the very least. Or, this is one of those dumb situations where higher-ups post a fake or ghost job posting knowing that they actually aren't going to hire for the position just to scare employees into feeling like they're replaceable. Either way, this is so messed up and it affects job seekers and can also tarnish that company's reputation too. Very disappointing!
Thank you, K! I read your comment on the original video, and I knew something was up! I also question if this is an inside job. Perhaps someone at the company didn’t protect company data and it got into the hands of a scammer? It’s a strange scam - post a fake job on the official company website. I want answers.
@DelilahBell Very well could be possible. I agree that it is a strange scam. It's suspicious at the least! Yes, I think all of us who applied and received the email should be given answers.
The company emailed me as well that the job was a scam. However, I have been hired on legit jobs that I knew about because you told us about it. Thank you for what you do, and I will continue to watch your channel and share it with others.
Wow, I thought this didn't sound familiar but when I checked my email, sure enough I had applied for it. Same deal- won't let me withdraw the application. I didn't receive any information about a data breach. I feel like most of the jobs I apply for are either ghost jobs or scams these days. It's sad!
They haven't mentioned anything about a data breach as of yet. That's my theory and this video supports it! They made it out to be a regular scam. But how if this was on their official website? That's why I have questions and think they should provide more details. People's info was compromised on their website!
@ God holds your record! God knows the truth & God knows your heart to help people find legitimate remote jobs. You are very much appreciated & my trust in you and your job leads hasn’t wavered!! 😇 Be encouraged 🙏🏽 God bless.
@@keannajaquay9853 Thank you for understanding!! My faith in God is exactly why I couldn't be quiet about this. I never want anyone to think I'm trying to get over on them. And I prove it in this video! 💚
This actually happened to me! The company had no idea it happened and I kept looking at the information and the linkedin info and that's how I found out it was a scammed from India scamming.
This one is a new one for me. There are a lot of scammers sadly targeting applicants. I've contacted a job before because I was concerned the offer was a scam. Fortunately it was legit. I felt a bit silly, but better safe than sorry. It makes it hard because I don't click on links at all anymore. This wasn't your fault. I'm glad you're shedding light on this because sadly it may happen again.
Thank you for understanding. This company failed to keep applicants’ data safe (allegedly). I pray this never happens again because it makes me look like I’m the scammer.
@DelilahBell I think I speak for most if not all of us by saying we know you are not the scammer. You work hard to research, and share legitimate jobs. I appreciate your hard work. Exposing the scam reiterates your integrity. Definitely not your fault at all.
Thank you Delilah for calling out the data breach that the scammer used to dupe us all! You have always been a great source for remote jobs! Keep up the awesome work! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Delilah, this is not your fault, you nor the company had no control of a creep hacking them. I don’t think any less of you or what you do, your reputation is still untarnished in my eyes. You do an excellent job assisting us in finding reputable work from home and anyone who doesn’t see you aren’t liable shouldn’t be on here with that kind of attitude. I appreciate that you took the time to do this video to show what happened, that is class and integrity. I will continue to follow every video. Have a great holiday!
I applied to the job as well and received the subsequent letter advising the posting was a scam. The follow-up didn't make sense because the posting was undoubtedly accessible on their business page and the ATS workable is familiar, most companies utilize one these days. To me it was most likely that an unauthorized posting was created on their business page either thtough a data breach or a sizable employee mistake. Regardless, the posting blunder isn't a reflection on your content and vetting process. You couldn't have known that the posting wasn't legit.
Believe me, scammers are very good at connecting all the dots to make it look like they are legitimate. You have to follow it all the way down the rabbit hole to find the red flags.
Delilah don't worry excessively about this. You did your best to make sure this company was legit. That's the best that we all can do, even if we look up the job for ourselves. No worries.
I applied for this job on the 20th and I received an email instantly from workable. I haven't received any other email. In the email it gives me a summary of all my information, including my picture that I have on my resume, and it asked me if I want to withdraw my application. I'm not sure if I should click on anything in the email, so I haven't done it.
I got an email stating the job applied for was a scam. I knew it wasn’t Delilah’s fault. Don’t worry Delilah, the people who know you give good leads know its not your fault
@@Chi-qt5qg thank you!! I couldn’t stay quiet about this. I never want anyone to question my competence with sharing these jobs. More importantly, people’s data was compromised by a “scammer”!
Yet it was on their website. If it was a scam job, the real company wouldn’t have your info - only the scammer would have it. It’s more like a data breach (allegedly).
We know you are reputable. I worked at a company in the past that i got from your lead. On that note, can you post some more part-time jobs that only require like 3 days per week of work with 10 or 12 hours per day.
Thank you! That's awesome & I'll definitely post more weekend jobs if I see something. They've been few and far between this last quarter, but I'm hopeful more will be available in the new year.
Yeah I applied to that job I was thinking it could be a scam was hoping it would be an actual job This is disappointing I'm still going to apply to other jobs Oh well
Scam alert also don’t see this job on your site Ttec it’s not them but others using there name to scam for money .. seems like another one of the Jamaican scam group

You have been and still most definitely are now and forever the one and only remote specialist that I watch and respect! You are the best and most trusted!!!
Thank you, Beth!!!
@@Misskorleone1 thank you!! 💚
I applied for the position and received an email that my application was submitted. Thanks for the heads up and all of your hard work.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for the heads-up & you are absolutely correct.
Thank you!
Thank you Deliah❤️ Keep doing what you have been doing💯 Stay Blessed
Thank you, Meka!! 💚
Hours after I applied I received an email yesterday about the job not being created or authorized by their company.
Yet it was on their website! hmmm
Same I tried to withdraw my application as well.
Hi Delilah!
Thanks for talking about this. We know you’re always making sure everything is legit. I applied to that one and they sent me that email as well
You're welcome. But that's the LEAST they could've done. They had this "fraud" job on their website! They didn't protect your data!! Shame on them.
@@DelilahBellwhat you have said through out the video makes total sense which is why I changed my comment smh but thank you for doing this video!
@@DelilahBell that’s very scandalous of the company smh
This is in no way a reflection of you Deliah or your business you are a true professional we thank you.❤
Thank you, Rauni!! 💚
Sorry this happened. It's out of your control but I understand you needing to clear things up for your reputation. I'm still following you and trust you.
Thank you!!
It really is ridiculous!!
Well thanks for letting us know about this misunderstanding and to me that lets me know that you are one of the few people who has respect and integrity towards your followers.
Thank you!! 💚
Hope you made an impact! Thank you for your professional loyalty.
Thank you!! I hope they see this!
You’re great sweetie! We trust you immensely!
Thank you!!
Thank you!! I really appreciate your comment :)
Thank you for posting! I appreciate you and your channel. God bless! 🙏 Off topic: I like your set up! Is that a desk in the back?
Thank you, Genevia!! 💚
Great information
Thank you!
I know you would never provide fraudulent info.
Thank you!
Wow, this is insane!!! I applied to that one on 11/20. Damn people who continue to be evil and shady. Ugh!
It is! I want this company to respond with real answers!
Thank you, J!!
Amen they need to get security together
@@elondaakers4232 they sure do!
This reminds me of that job not long ago that asked us for our social security number on the application.
It also showed up on LinkedIn not sure what’s going on?
This video explains it all!
Good afternoon from Arizona 😇
Hi Keanna! Wish I didn't have to make this video.
I received an email about the scam too, I applied earlier this month.
I'd reply to their email and ask how they're going to make things right.
This actually happened to me! The company had no idea it happened and I kept looking at the information and the linkedin info and that's how I found out it was a scammed from India scamming.
Wow. Sorry that happened! I hope nothing like this happens again.
@@sheepluvslambs thank you!!
My daughter's health insurance through medicaid sent me a ltter in the mail saying they have experienced data breach. It's crazy
I got a letter like that, too! It is crazy!
Thank you Delilah for calling out the data breach that the scammer used to dupe us all! You have always been a great source for remote jobs! Keep up the awesome work! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Thank you, D!! 💚
Thank you, Shannon!! Have a happy Thanksgiving!!
Thank you!! I share the same theories!
Believe me, scammers are very good at connecting all the dots to make it look like they are legitimate. You have to follow it all the way down the rabbit hole to find the red flags.
All the way!
Omg yes i applied. And got a email the next day that it was a scam offerings
I hope they provide more details!
If anyone blames you they need to give up the Internet.
Your reputation is still stellar to me.
Thank you!! 💚
Happy holidays ♥️
Happy holidays, Stephanie! 💚
Delilah don't worry excessively about this. You did your best to make sure this company was legit. That's the best that we all can do, even if we look up the job for ourselves. No worries.
Thank you, Shirley!!
I received an email from JMAC alerting me that it was fake this morning
I wonder if they'll give more details!
Since they’re aware “something” is going on, I’d be cautious and not click on anything in the email.
@@DelilahBell Thank you, I won't. I truly appreciate all of your job leads. Have a blessed night and happy holidays.
Thank you! Have a blessed evening & Thanksgiving!!
@@DelilahBell Thank you!
I got 2 emails from them saying the job was a scam and my info was compromised 😣
Me too!! 😢🤦🏾♂️😩
There's a story here! I think this video will help make some stuff make sense.
Got an email from them too saying the same thing...smh. I just received it last night and I applied about 6 days ago.
It's Workable with the weak data security fault
Interesting take! That's why I wish they'd provide more details. What really happened?
They sent me an email saying the job was fake.
@DelilahBell not weekends, during the week preferably. But I know you do due diligence with good leads. Keep up the good work.
@@chosenone5222 ok, got it!
Is this a lawsuit
Hmmm! I really wonder!
I received the same letter. If you get any further information, please share on a video message. Thanks!
I absolutely will share if I get any more info. I’d definitely reply, and ask how they plan to make things right.
This isn’t a reflection of your character. Equifax and many large corporations have had breaches
Thank you!
No Worries :) I don't think anyone here blames you Delilah. All these job offers, there was bound to be some scammer out there doing crap
Thank you!!
Yeah I applied to that job
I was thinking it could be a scam was hoping it would be an actual job

I'm still going to apply to other jobs
Oh well
This is a new one. I've never seen something like this happen to a company. Yes, keep applying!
