The song, Happiness?, is my favourite Roger track. Every single time it comes up on my playlist, from the first Am chord, all tension just drains away. Most soothing song ever. Sunny Day is a close second for the same reason. And the Purple Version of Gangsters for the opposite reason: the drums kiss a$$ in that one.🤪

Yes, he is! In fact Brian May has said that Roger owns more guitars than him!! However, considering that Brian has his beloved, awesome Red Special, he probably doesn’t need a lot of other guitars!! 😊

News of the World was is a typical Queen album with contrasting tracks. Gone to a certain extent were the complex multi layers of previous albums in favour of a more stripped back approach in line with the punk movement that was making a big impact at the time. Rockers like We Will Rock you, Sheer Heart attack, It’s Late and this alongside All Dead, All Dead, Spread your wings, who needs you & My Melancholy blues....so much diversity as usual

I keep saying mate, check our Roger's solo work, Foreign Sand and Unblinking Eye are amazing but there are plenty of real gems. You've done Brian's Solo stuff but I think Roger's albums are better.
