I'm 100% loyal to the Nyx Lift & Snatch too. There's just no reason for me to try another one. I also have a comfort blush brush that I bought at Claire's 12 years ago--she's so trashed, but I got IT Cosmetics, I got Rephr, still prefer my Claire's brush 😆 I used to work in a dental office--girl, eat breakfast, just brush before you get seated. At the office I worked at, we had free toothbrushes in the bathroom, just in case. 2023 was probably the hardest year of my life. Since Christmas, I've just decided to not care about everything beyond what's essential. I'm still working, still doing the things I need to do, but when it comes to trying to expand my sphere and reach long term goals... listen, those are problems for future Rebekah. I need a BREAK, and I deserve one.
lol. I’m glad you relate to the comfort brush. The new brushes could never lol. I was so damn hungry lol I won’t starve myself for them again. 2023 was my most difficult and life changing year. It was non stop crisis decision making and management. Makeup became what I leaned on as a creative outlet and escape. Glad that the year is over and I’m prioritizing my needs. The break is non negotiable especially when others depend on your joy ❤
I watched Cara's video, too, and agree that the party seemed a little incongruent with the vibe of the brand they were showing. I've never tried Viseart. I only ever swatched it in the store once and they didn't seem special. Are they as good as people say? I just got a Melt gel liner, too! I got it with my Danessa products because it was half off, and I figured a dark brown is a shade I can use easily. My February has not been great...kids have been sick all month basically, and I've had a cough for the last 3 weeks. I just want to get to spring. I have that Danessa product and need to try it like that. So fun!
Hey boo! The viseart formula is fine, I do think it is overhyped. If you like a punchy vibrant look, viseart is not for you. I just really like the tiny packaging and magnetic pans. If you do try, make sure it is deeply discounted. I’m so sorry you’re not enjoying the month ☹️ I am over the winter too, you see I can’t stop sniffling. I hope you and kids feel better soon. Yay!
