I'm confused, are you talking about the one at 1:34? If so then you should just run with him every time he hops and if he does do the stab it'll just miss you without you trying. If you don't have the stamina then just let him come to you and space the stab should he do it.
@@csabagalambos1461 There are actual bad hitboxes to complain about in this game though, just not found on this boss. Grab hitbox has the same size hitbox around his sword as all his other attacks.

Actually the only boss i have done the no-hit challenge for in all the games, all for that one animation, it was hard but so much fun

Not super hard, and you can definitely do it better than I do, but hitting 0 stamina is very punishing in ds2

How do you strafe his stab? (not the grab one) I always have an issue, because he tracks me so well
Don't be greedy and don't be too far away, move directly sideways unless you're too far away and then move a bit towards him too.

I got durazno now as I saw it was allowed for TH and will be using that from now on. The NG+7 no roll run I did back in the day is without.
