You need to watch the ball from the arm release.

If you watch the ball early enough you should be able to see the change of pace and adjust.

Hello Sir, you are a great coach. I have watched all your videos, but I have some questions.
I am able to watch the ball all the way on to the bat for short pitched balls, but I am unable to watch the over pitched balls. So I am missing them mostly. Can you clarify why ? I am focusing but when the ball reaches near I can't watch it hit the bat. Also this problem increases when the ball is overpitched on the off side.
In our area we play tennis ball cricket, where bowlers do not bowl round arm. They throw it like baseball. I think it is coming at 90 MPH. Is it possible to track the ball all way at this speed ? Do batsman watch the ball all the way or they make predictive saccades to future position of the ball ?

Yes you can watch the ball even at a high speed and can deal with that as per your skill level reaction time and coordination of your body...
An over pitched ball is out of the sight for very short part of the second when there is contact of bat and ball.. in this position the sound of bat and ball enables you to have a feel of the ball.. as far your problem on the off side stroke is concerned I think your front shoulder in stance position may be little towards the off side.. keep it towards the right shoulder of the umpire if you are a rt handed batsman... Yes while watching the ball at a high speed you get an Idea of the ball if you are sure of the surface you are batting on and also about the ability of the bowler as well.
